PSA to anyone, never ever tell a colleague or a friend that you think a proposal is coming for them, because if it happens, you've pretty much spoilt the surprise, if it doesn't happen, you've created disappointment. I had a male colleague comment to me that he thought my BF would pop the qn on an upcoming trip that my partner and I were going on, and it did, thankfully i didn't think much of his comment and it was still a surprise for me. But on hindsight, either way, its a really asshole comment.
John didn’t even tell my family. That’s how scared he was that the plan will go wrong 😂
