For those wondering why I didn't include any of the boss enemies / moonscorched contestants, there's so many good ones that I think they deserve their own video.
Another great vid! What I love about Miro's designs is an argument could be made for any of the enemies he creates. There's so many little subtle scares too like the dead cherub in the priest's bed, the way Tanaka's doppelganger turns his head all the way around etc.
I think Death mask is terrifying because of their mechanic on how they work. A guy popping out of the coffin after you passed through an area a certain amount of time which makes you think carefully where you should go. Same thing with Poe due to the same mechanic of a strong enemy being able to appear if you do something
okay i gotta amend the comment i made on this video because you're absolutely right. the death masks are terrifying. i saw one of them when i first tried out fear & hunger mode and was curious so i went after it. i like to explore and check out all the monsters and ways to die. stupid move right there. it slaughtered my entire party and left my poor daan with no arms. i was so scared i pressed quit right there🥴i fucked around and found out.
For me the creepiest are the moonscorched forms of the main characters, since I have an emotional attachment to them already, and it kinda pains me to see them in such forms, especially when you understand what might've led to that in their previous lives/personalities

I would also like to mention a enemy, I don't know it's name but I will describe it as best as I can. There is a humanoid creature in the village with a pig mask that uses poison gas as a weapon, spreading it around the village as if spraying agianst normal humans. If he defeats you, he throws your body in a pigs den who then eat it. But he is not immune to his own gas, so if you pull his mask off he inhales it and dies. Remember this if you encounter him.
The Priests are really creepy in the lore and they look really scary, yeah. But tbh I just can't get over how much they look like that one random character from Gintama (the "death row inmate" the Shinsengumi have to interrogate and it turned out he was just some random civilian) and it kind of kills a lot of the horror factor
Idk why but the first time I fought bobbys in the city I was legitimately freaked out, the erratic movements they do with their heads and the sounds they do is just something i dont like at all

There are so many enemies that deserve a spot on this list and insted you put moonscorched villagers as number 1 (E.g. moonscorched contestants, my choice for the creepiest would have to be Dysmorphia, Needles with his laughter and chasing after you, stiches, centaur, gull bros, poe, fallen cherub or literally any other enemie because moonscorched villagers are probably the least F*** up thing in this game. (halfway through writing this I realised it may come off as a little mean but at the time of writing this it's half past mid-night and I don't know how to formulate this differently, I'm sure this took you a lot of time to make.)
The more f*cked up, the less scary. The villagers maintain a rudiment of normality (including ability to communicate), which makes their imperfection even more conspicuous and repellent. They evoke the same feeling of vagueness, perhaps even misery, as mad people do.
I wonder if some Gods favor specific contestants in the Termina contest. Daan with Rhea (considering he turns into Pocketcat) but also Marina with the Sulfur God
Dude having a centaur in roster but decided to add a fucking SOLDIER and moonscorched dudes... Bro you had a MSed marcoh in rher dimension, you had platoon, you had stitched guys from dark forest bunker. Most disappointing video in 2023 here we go
Didn't ever really find the Centaur that creepy, the doppelgangers I can agree with, and maybe any moonscorch besides Caligula, Samarie, O'saa and Henryk just because the buildup and eerieness to the other survivors if they aren't in your party is "cool", the Soldier I'm super on the fence about, mainly because there are already enemies that are more physically imposing in the game that do worse than just kill you (that mf Djinn) it ain't a objectively bad list but going more clearly into detail about what actually makes the creepy and the areas they appear in would've helped since it gets done for some of them
If you're so bothering, just make your own list and post it on TH-cam, man, no one is forced to think exactly the same way as you, that's what opinion means.
Just a quick criticism (enjoy your vids) but in the first 2 minutes, look back at the amount of repetition when describing Doppelgangers. Just a little more script sprucing up is all!
The sequel seems more tame then first game probably cause steam bundles them with all the porn game store preference. Seriously that platform is not good for indie games, even regional pricing from big publishers is dropped
@@MGrey-qb5xz Well the developer said he wasn't in a good head space back when making the first game and got his stuff together for the second one. I do understand your feeling though about the design. It's a lot cleaner.
some of these choices here confuse me, but it's a personal list, so that's fine. i personally didn't find any of the creatures in f&ht scary. nothing lives up to the lord of flies and harvestman😅 edit: no i forgot about the death masks. those are terrifying and i hate them
It's channels that pump out low-effort brainless content like this one that ruined this site. Like really? Just reading off 5 enemies from the game? They're not even the creepiest either, feels like you threw a dart at a board.

honestly i'd seen janitor is creepier than that exact bremen soldier, i guess because the design is just cool
