Thank you for the wonderful scenery, I've been to Japan so many times and often wished to do some motorcycle touring there but not done so yet. My V7 Special has the same mirrors - always the left one that comes loose. My guess is that the thread direction works to keep the right one tight but the combination of wind and vibrations makes the left one come loose every few hundred Kilometres. Hopefully one day Guzzi will think to put a reverse thread direction on the left mirror.
Thanks for watching the video ! If you have a chance, please try touring on a rental bike, etc. The V7 850 I test rode the other day had a loose mirror as well. I guess that's the fate of the V7. I tightened the mirror on my V7III as hard as I could and it stopped coming loose.
I just bought a 2017 Special in black with turquoise stripe and after market mufflers. Cos covid, it's getting delivered 10th Jan. I wanted one ever since I rode a V50II from England to Israel back in the day. Counting the days. That engine note and the character and the looks and the ride. Take care and ride safe Scott.
