These Canadair CL415 are probably the best firefighters in forestry service. Once they were upgraded from piston P&W radial engines to P&W Canada turboprops they now have the power to get things done quickly.
@@larrydunlop378 Great news! It pissed me off to learn that the North-West Territories bought some tiny American "Fire Boss". There is one boss and it is Canadair, made in Canada, our best ambassador!
Ya, there is some good chop on those "scoops"...Spain is one of many countries who know good value when it comes to fire suppresion resources....the amazing Canadair CL-415...
Hey mate, is it OK to feature your clip in a my chanel for educational purposes (so-called temporary copyright.)? You can stop me from using your content at any time and it will be deleted immediately. It will be credited in the description & comments section with your name. Thanks, MM
Hey gino you edited out the end every load&go. I would be curious to time the loads in those rough water conditions- average in calmer waters is about 13 seconds.
Nice images, thank you. A pity however that you never kept your camera on the Canadairs from touchdown to takeoff, what would have allowed to count the time it takes this marvelous planes to refill their water tanks.
Too bad Bombardier is so short sighted they stopped production of the CL415s and sold the rights off to Viking Air in Victoria B. C., who haven't decided whether to start production them again. With all the forest fires around the world, the forest services need more CL415s.
+MrAlcazar Hi Mr Alcazar, there are different aircrafts that have the same firefighting role (from the anphibian Air Tractor AT 802, to the C130 MAFFS, to the DC 10 Air Tanker and many others) but not with the same features of the CL 415. The more similar is the old PBY Catalina!!!!

Is there a U.S. equivalent of this aircraft? I don't see a list any of these in operation in the U.S.

WOW!!!
That's called "touch & Go". 6000 liters in 7 seconds loaded into the tanks. Canadian amphibious water bomber, Canadian pilot.
Sorry man, this is an Italian CL 415 you can see the : "Protezione Civile" on the tail.
This may be operated by an Italian crew and owned by Italians, but these planes are designed and built in Canada by Bombardier.
Canadian Aircraft. It doesn't matter what is painted on the tail.
+RikterZilla Yes that's my point it's a Canadian aircraft built by a Canadian company.
I know that guys, we got 12 of them in France. It's just that "Canadian Pilot". Nah sorry not because it's canadian made that it's a canadian pilot.
