I'm still very confused in the difference between midtempo and drumstep. Is drumstep slightly slower? Comparing with Pulse for reference. (Amazing track dude btw well done!)
The way I classify it, Drumstep is around 170 BPM (or half of that), sort of a marriage between Drum & Bass and Dubstep. As for this song, I'd call it Moombahcore, which is like 110 BPM dubstep, but less funky than Glitch Hop and with more of a smooth flow. Moombahcore is my favorite! That's my two cents. Music is music, feel free to classify it the way you want.
