I honestly think something from outside was bothering his feet, when I caught him on film this was happening often and it was summer. We noticed one of his dog friends doing the same thing. I wonder what is bothering them. I will ask my vet next time we are in....once summer is over this ends :( poor angels
@@Rileyboy we have 2 Chihuahuas and only one does it. We think it could be a grass allergy as when he goes in our garden or has a walk on a nearby field every day he is always scratching and chewing his feet. He is bathed every month which is recommended for the breed and combed every day. He has flea treatment and a flea collar as the field we walk on is like a big public park and very popular with dog walkers.

Are you sure he is trimming his nails? It’s something mine does but we have his nails clipped by our vet regularly.
