I bought this controller for using with my GameCube, I am really liking it. I used it to play Luigi’s mansion last week, it works very good, the triggers are not the same as the official GameCube ones, but works good. There are a few bad things: -the pad is not so good, tried resident evil 2 on GameCube and is hard to keep walking straight, you do lots of unintentional turnings -Rumble was not good in Luigi’s mansion, feels like a cheap rumble, maybe depends on each game -There is a glitch with metal gear twin snakes, when you use an official game cube controller the games works fine, but when you use a new wireless controller or adapter, when you push up right or down left, the travel distance of the stick is more farther than the official GameCube controller, so the game doesn’t know what to do and snake instead of running he walks in this directions, this is a glitch and not the fault of the controller. So, this controller is no good for traditional resident evil or metal gear on the GameCube, anything else’s works fine.

Good information to have. Are the triggers not Digital? I've seen MGS2 has item selection with the clicks of the triggers
The black is definitely my favorite of the three, I feel like it would go best with my Silver GameCube.
