I'd like to see an ABS plastic version of the early model Euro bumpers. They get scalped so hard and present a steep barrier to entry for those with early model cars trying to fit a Mtech1. Even better would be a one-piece version of the Mtech1 bumper, like how the Mtech2 comes, that does away with those euro bumpers.

We currently sell late model front and rear bumpers that you can use for the conversion. You would still need to source the bumper crash bars and bumper shocks if you wanted it to be mounted the same as OEM. With enough interest, we'd love to provide a full conversion kit in the future.
@@garagistic the biggest drawback of the conversion is you still have to trim the rear bumper sides for the wheel arch, as well as the rear door cards. everything front doors and forward are direct swap though. If you guys could make an early model MT2 kit, that is already trimmed/formed for early model back half, I'd imagine more people would jump on it. Elongating the mounting holes to raise the late-model bumper supports is easy enough for most, it's the trimming and finishing of ABS plastic that scares them away. All that being said, I'm probably going to buy and modify an MT2 kit anyway. My 85 already has late model front bumper and valance. The rear diving board was already pushed in and the black trim above is wavy from sun damage. Being able to buy a relatively bolt-on solution for the rear would be sweet though.

Do you have a late model E30 or early model E30? Our red E30 is a late model and the front bumper on the later models come with black trim that covers the full length of the bumper (as shown on the red car). It sounds like you have an early model US front bumper (aka diving board bumper) and those don't come with black trim underneath where the front license plate is installed. There are a few aftermarket options out there that fill in that section but we currently do not carry those but may start producing those in the near future.
