@@mphylo2296 Because it's an older generation game. Gears 4 and 5 can target 60 FPS for versus, so it stands to reason that it might be possible to implement FPS boost on the Xbox One. I myself am not to sure how it works, as there's probably some reason its exclusive to the Series consoles.

This means that in addition to running the game, they are also running a somewhat stripped down version of the Xbox 360’s firmware, while also running their own in the background. It is very taxing on the console’s hardware to pretend to be another console while also running its own firmware, not to mention target 60fps on a game intended to be played at 30. The series consoles are able to achieve this frame rate because of the evolution in hardware since the release of the Xbox One. It’s a matter of power first and foremost, particular processing power.

@@Omen_Burrito Well the majority of people in Gears of War use shotguns as their primary weapon so you can already say that people have already ruined the game with a certain playstyle. All I did was give them a taste of their own medicine. The game should be more balanced but people want to play only one way and then they expect others to play the same exact way.
@WojtaS666S check compatibility settings.. this footage is clearly 30fps. FPS boost is not enabled by default because it will reduce resolution, but with 60fps it still runs at 1440p.
