I played that course a few weeks back. Was happy with a 68.
Set me up nicely for the back nine.
Those tee boxes are absolutely mint. It's a giant pet peeves of mine on public courses that the tee boxes simply aren't even level. I don't even complain about how short they're cut or how they roll, I just want them FLAT.
That course just looks like the stuff of dreams. The castle/manor/estate in the background is stunning.
And to think that courses difficulty will be ramped up for the pros and they'll still go shoot 65.
You're not alone! Uneven tee boxes really do my head in!
Always favour a slicer of the ball.. always seem to slope to exaggerate a hook
It's not just public courses that have bobbly tee boxes. My clubs are really dodgy at the moment!
Half the time if I’m not playing with rule snobs or a competition I play outside the boxes does my nut in
I caddy here at Adare and think I know the course pretty well but I'm still amazed watching it on a course vlog with the drone footage and beautiful angles ye capture. I am also amazed at how it catches alot of PGA pros out which is a testament to the design and the massive elevation and run off areas around greens. unfortunately missed you that day Pete Scott's a good mam. well done Scott
Scott, what a pro. Right at the end, all he wanted to do was take the putter out of your hand but too nice to say so 😂
Don't do it. Fake
4:14 I heard "one turkey to the front" the first five times I listened to that.
What a nice lad he was.
The first time Peter rakes a bunker on camera he gets told off...
You played lights out Finchy!
Those greens are ridiculous....but very pure, the whole course looked pure as anything.
I think it was a fantastic round. Breaking 80 from the tips was a job well done. What a gorgeous course. Definitely a bucket list course. I can't wait for the Ryder cup now. Great video Pete. 💯👍🏻
Absolutely beautiful camera work, the clarity is astounding! The 3 puts are crushing. 😢
Don't do it. Fake
Once again guys I must say it, keep on killing it .. Pete may have birthed this thing but all the respect to the team for moulding this channel to what it is. Haven’t even finished the video, just like to say it once in a while. Good job
Fake. Spam
Gotta credit their persistence 😂 blind nut finds a squirrel eventually
View going up the ninth is magical. What a place.... Fairways & tees nicer than most courses greens!
The missed par putt on 12 was totally down to rushing the shot and being too conscious of the camera.
A lot of missed opportunities here, just due to overly self-critical mindset and rushed process.
Pete, some of these shots, off these absolutely evil tee boxes, were actually top notch golfing.
Chin up Mate.
Gorgeous videos from Adare BTW. 👏
I was lucky enough to play the course yesterday in beautiful sunshine. What an amazing place and course. Was great to watch your video to recap all of the holes. Great effort too Pete because it’s not an easy course especially if you miss greens.
I know a lot of northern hemisphere golfers are envious of us southerners with our 365 day season, but OMG some of your courses are jaw-dropping gorgeous. Adare Manor is outrageously stunning. And, apart from coming up short with quite a few approach shots, you played pretty solidly Pete.
Pete, great content as always, but the real stars of this video is your editing crew. Keeping in the caddie conversation throughout was great. Really gave a great feel for the round. Top notch team you have.
Fake. Spam. Don't do it
@@tylershafer7929 I spend more damn time reporting those comments than watching videos.
@@justinlemon8326 just crazy right? We need to become moderators. Lol
Thank you for this content Pete! I can’t think of a better morning than having my morning coffee while watching you play one of the best courses in the world! 😊😊😊. Personally this format (you playing a course and trying to get the best score possible either solo or against someone else) is my favorite
Only thing that would make this better would be more commentary and split into two videos
That is one beautiful course. I'm sure I would shoot higher there, but I wouldn't mind, specially if I had the opportunity to play there. Thanks Peter.
Once again.. great video Pete... that pep talk on 13 helped... i do it on at least 4 holes in a round 😅
This course looks like a painting! Too good to be real! I'd love to play there!!!!
Best course vlog I’ve ever watched. Amazing place and brilliantly put together by you and the lads Pete.
have to say my favorite part was Pete's cursing spree that got left in i thought that was absolutely hilarious. Hope the corgi up there is alright
That has to be one of the best courses in the world. Great effort, Pete.
Those greens might be some of the best I've ever seen. Perfection. Drove the ball beautifully, shame about the putter.
Great video Pete. Looked gorgeous but brutal to play. As an 8 handicapper who has shot mid 70's at Sawgrass, Copperhead, Turnberry etc off normal tees....I bet I'd shoot in the 90's off those tees at Adare! Shows just how good the Tour pro's really are. Can't wait for the 2027 Ryder Cup there, going to be awesome.
I think this is the most beautiful course I’ve watched you play…truly envious!!
The golfing gods are cruel Pete! 😂 Great video, especially the little peptalk you gave yourself.
played on a super wet day with negative roll on my drives, they discussed closing the course but I was lucky to get out...but the greens....amazing with their suction system...super fast and true....the castle is spectacular inside and it's one of the best 5 star stays...we had a view of the par 3 from our room...the mrs got a fun recording of me playing it from the veranda.....tee to green it's a decent parkland style course but nothing amazing outside of the conditioning and the greens...money bought this Ryder Cup here...there are better courses in Ireland that could host this event. I enjoyed the K club more of my two Ryder Cup Irish courses.
Solid breakdown to be fair. Other than the K Club, where would you recommend? My aul lad took me around Waterville when I was young and I thought it was stunning.
Money buys every Ryder cup. Smurfit sponsored the European open for years to get his shot at the K club. Adare was designed to be not just an outstanding course and true 5 star estate, but also a great spectator experience. The owner has also created a place and experience that the world’s top golfers love ,and, because of their regards for the course and him has raised tens of millions for this region’s charities and social programs through their incredible pro am competitions ( outside the European tour and with no ranking points that still attracts the world’s top golfers and businesses , sports people and celebrities. It will be an incredible Ryder cup venue.
Cracking video
Direction the grass is moan in, I know about the grain but a massive factor all over the course…..
Love TH-cam golf….👍
Looks amazing! Loved the caddy and the fact he was still trying to get the putter off of you on the 18th great stuff
Pete, you're revealing yourself as simply too nice and friendly to have a caddie 😅♥️
Well done again team Finch, great video ,great golf, and I have to say I am sooo envious of your swing ,it looks soo controlled . Well done too Scott and Adare Manor beautiful part of Ireland.
Cheers to you all.
Noel
Well done Peter! You were not at your best at the start ( what with that corgi in your..), but you gutted it out beautifully at the end. That putt on 18 was joyous!
the walk off from pete hits home just how frustrating the game of golf can be!
Thats a realy good round of golf, Pete. You struggled from back tee, and still shoot a good score... Thats a good golfer.
Ha! I had Scott as my caddy the day after my wedding. Little legend!
What a beautiful and difficult golf course. Awesome. Great caddie too
Scott. Wow wow wow🙌🙌 diligent professional caddy. I hope all the caddys at Adare are of his calibre🙌
Pete you are so awkward with the caddie. I’m sure it’s strange to have someone take that much care of you on the course. Epic course and video. Scott was a legend.
The speed of those greens and the green complexes got you!! Drove like a demon!!! 👍👍
Considering you uncharacteristically didn't hit your irons well. And struggled with your driver & pitching early on. I think you scored well. For not striking the ball well on the round. Got to think that's the benefit of having the support of a caddie like Scott?! Great content Pete! Would like to see more videos like this.
On another day you shoot 70 . Was just the approach shots staying short. Great effort and a great watch.
I’m pretty sure your walk alone was the best part of this video… you sounded like me on many a round.😂
😂👍
Stunning course, good golf Pete, great Caddying from Scott, so much so, he wanted to take the putter off you so bad on the last 🤣
Hi Pete, I was at the Pro Am and it is just thousands of yards of rolled out carpet!! Ireland's Augusta for sure. Great video, super camera work and the caddy was incredible 👏 👌 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
That place is what dreams are made of. I'd be really tempted to play with a 7 iron, my wedges and a putter. Trying to prolong the experience for a long as possible. Tee time on the least busy day of the week as well.
What a stunning course. Well played, and props to Scott the caddy.
I love the slow tempo on the first shot and the second shot!! On fire!! Wait! That driver sounded like M2??!! If it is, MY FAVORITE!!
The color on this vid is so good. Compliments to the chef.
Fantastic location and footage. You were wicked unlucky with some of your putts, after scoring that round, you deserved a Guinness rather than a coffee sir. Well played again ☘️☘️
Fake. Don't do it!!
@@tylershafer7929 sound mate. They are on every comment.
The videography and editing of this video is breathtaking 🤩
I could watch that swing all day. Keep the videos coming !
Incredibly put together video! Really enjoying all the content at the moment! Adare Manor is now definitely a bucket list golf course. I play off 5 and would be aiming to break 90 of the backs lmao
Excellent video, Pete.
Adare Manor should hire you and your team to film their promotional material.
I hope the Adare Corgi Association doesn’t come after you, Pete!! 😄. What an immaculate venue! Thx for the video!
That's one of the most gorgeous golf course I've ever seen - what I fantastic place!
Brilliant video Peter, think you were a bit unlucky with your putter on that day - think on another day you would have been looking at closer to par for the round 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Well done Pete. That course is HARD! I reckon off the backs I'd shoot somewhere between 75 to 200.
Still loving the musk oxen head cover for your driver. I recently found a Chewy head cover and immediately started using it for my 3-wood.
The Welcombe in Stratford upon Avon has a Manor house back drop on the approach in to the par 5 16th, so there's in fact at least 2 Mr Finch🙂... I think you'd like that course too.
Pretty good playing Pete on a very difficult but beautiful golf course.
Pete, I really enjoy watching you play golf. More of these. What a gorgeous place to play golf.
This dude is EVERYWHERE! don't do it. It's a scam. U didn't win. Check literally everyone's comment
I live In that town ❤ Adare, Limerick, Ireland 🇮🇪
The talk to yourself didn’t really work did it…funny though 😂😂 Great work!!
The course looks amazing Augusta like 👌
I would have loved to see around the clubhouse
What a course. Absolutely beautiful. Great round.
I was shouting at my computer on 17 & 18 - well done!
Had a little look to see how much a round here would be, il get saving now haha.
What a beautiful place to play golf.
Peter quite apologizing. Stop stressing. I think it so much more enjoyable. When you just have fun and enjoy playing golf on a beautiful course. I would be over the moon to just be able to play this course.
Going to play there in May!!Can't wait!!
Great video as always Pete. Long courses with no roll are absolutely brutal!
Yes they are!
Well done, Peter. What a place to play golf.
This course is absolutely stunning.. truly you weren’t far off aside from a few putts.
To shoot 78 at a course like this with no roll at all is so epic! I have to shoot between 80 and 78 at normal courses with a lenght of let's say 5500 metres and that's hard enough so Peter you are an absolute beast and fantastic player!!
Well done Pete 👍 it just goes to prove even with you being a pro golfer that golf is really hard! Great video and awesome course
Great video Peter and team! Well done playing under 80! I knew you could do it! I would love to play the course but I doubt I'd be able to keep it under triple figures!😂
love you to come play the course that lost to Rome this year. Fontana in Austria.
The caddy definitely made this video as good as it is, what a guy #GetScottOnTour
Special course, played it off the tips myself back in April when we visited. 17th is a beast!
You missed low side all day Peter! Fantastic place, all about the greens and the massive slopes around them
this is so good it could have been two parts with more banter in each and less montage.
WOW that was gut turning on some of those putts, but you accomplished your goal. Nice!
Goed Gespeeld Peter ! Fantastische locatie en super fraaie prestatie ! Zou er ook wel een balletje willen kloppen!
Wie weet doe je mee als geheim wapen aan de Ryder Cup... 🙂
Great video Peter. Feeling like shot wise content creators like yourself and Rick have got all of the same shots than the Pros. However I big part sometimes that come across in the videos is the mental aspect. You guys are all so hard on yourselves… like you guys hit a GIR and are still negative about the results. Or just missing a 40 ft putt and being disappointed rather than adding to your confidence. I’m a high handicapper so my technique is as bad as my mental strength in golf but i feel like you guys can certainly be less hard on yourselves!!
Been waiting for this video. Just look at this place 😍😍
I'm a 9 handicap. Shot 81 at Bethpage Black (home to the 2025 Ryder Cup). Played a little long from the tips, 7600yrd. It's probably the best round I've ever played. Pete, if you cross the pond, I'll show you how it's done on the Black!
Absolutely amazing looking course.
The length and greens looked so difficult, well played!
Great video Pete. Your driving was excellent but I think your approach shots let you down, leaving you with long putts on difficult fast greens. A few very nearly putts, followed but some great putts in the last few holes. Fantastic course and well played and well done Scott
Again what a beautiful golf course. You are a lucky man. I would not even attempt the back tees. Actually I couldn't. Love watching you play these courses. Thanks again Pete. And kudos to your team
Thanks 👍
That course is absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to see the Ryder Cup there. Great round Pete and what's up with the club changes??
Stunning looking course. To be honest, even with a mid teens handicap, I think I'd be happy to break 100 from the back tees around there.
Swing looking great! Ernie Els-esque!
Love the video Pete, Great content, Pure class, stunning course, looks really hard, well done 👌🏌♂⛳
Can't wait to see the ryder there. Class course
How do tour players shoot mid 60s around courses like this? It's ridiculous how good they are.
The difference between them and you and me is striking
@@jackblackbourn It's not just ball striking. I'm +1 so I can strike the ball well enough most of the time. It's their accuracy of distance and short game that is incredible.
I'd like to see them stack 400 cans of beans in 3 minutes. If they did it all day like me, they could do it as fast I'm sure. If they tried really hard.
@@blue24563 Listening to Adam Scott speak about the time he was at his peak just losing the open and winning the masters you realise yes they have top natural talent but God do they practice practice practice all day every day and bringing their game up to speed for the major's like getting a race horse ready. The hours and dedication to every single aspect of their game is unreal.
They have a caddy who work with them and know the shots before the golfer does. Taking nothing away from Pete’s caddy, but if they played together for a year or even 6 solid months, I bet Pete gets closer to that 70 threshold. To be honest, he wasn’t really far away from a par round.
Great vid, great camera work and amazing looking course!
Scott presents himself like a great lad
Well done Pete, congrats on the mil🎉
Great looking course. Great effort despite not playing your best. 2027 Ryder Cup will be interesting ⛳️👍🏻😀
I’m definitely the same when playing with a caddie. It’s hard to break the usual habits on a temporary basis, like raking the bunker or filling divots.
Good round Pete! Scott defo earned a good tip there!
Awesome finchy!!! What a great place to play golf!!
Of the backs???? 105 😂
Absolute stunner of a course. Great videos Peter
