I’m so sorry for what has happened! You have all been through such a horrendous time. Hopefully the insurance company has had a massive kick up the bum to get moving (they are horrendous!)

This so hard to watch - keep away from it all if possible stress won’t be good for baby, maybe your husband could deal with all the phone calls and admin xx

Thank you 💖. He’s been doing the all the appointments at the house so that I spend as little time in there as possible and we’re trying to minimise the stress as much as we can xx

I am sorry sorry that this has happened to you and being pregnant as well it’s disgusting the way you are being treated, the insurance company needs to pull their finger out, do you think the previous owners knew that there could have been something wrong and that’s why they sold the house, nothing looked modernised, the stairs looked very dangerous, I am guessing they were an elderly couple I pray things get better for you soon, my middle daughter was homeless for about 3 months and she got married in that time as everything was payed for and they were living in a travel lodge at the time, this happened because their landlord decided out of the blue to sell the house they had rented for 5 years the housing at the council was useless they lost a lot of stuff stored in a marquee in their friends garden luckily I had her wedding dress in my bedroom, they couldn’t stay with me because there is her, her husband(fiancée at the time, and 5 children) I only have a two bed house but they did stay on my driveway in their friends motor home for 10 days before emergency accommodation 3 Travel lodges like you they only got told the Friday each week if they were staying or moving, also had to leave one place at 10am but couldn’t move into the next accommodation until 4pm, a lot of their clothes was stored in their car, I had to keep helping them move their stuff because they only had a van, they then got moved to a 3 bed flat, which had druggies behind them, my daughter never felt safe while her husband was at work plus she was home schooling her middle daughter who was diagnosed with ADHD last year, they then got moved to temporary accommodation a 3 bed house and after numerous housing applications, which they had to do each time they moved after another 3 months they finally got a 4 bed house a new build in January this year they are finally getting sorted out 5 months later after getting their keys x

Thank you 💖. The previous owner was a lady in her 90s who was in a care home so I don't think there was anything malicious there. We bought the house knowing that we needed to do a lot of work on it, but could never have predicted anything like this.
I'm so sorry to hear what your daughter is going through; it sounds like they're having a really tough time. I'm glad they're finally getting sorted though, and hopefully their new build will be lovely and they can make it their forever home x
