Your reviews are extremely well done, thank you for all the work you put into them. I watched another reviewer who reported seeing severe speckles with his N1 ULTRA. Did your copy of the projector have this issue?
Hi! How much do you see the "keystone" shadows/overplay of the light (as you mentioed it) when the projector is not centered and straight? You showed it in daylight, which again makes a big difference. Thank you :-)
When you showed the video at night, I can see the light bleed at the left corner of the screen. This is not good and indicates that the auto correction is not quite there yet. You would have to manually adjust the keystone correction to fit perfectly inside the border of the screen. I don't think this is due to your ALR screen. I have a UST projector and also have a 120" ALR screen that goes with it. I am still contemplating whether to buy the N1 Ultra or not.
That’s pretty standard for these types of projectors, dont expect any of them to get it down to the millimeter without some manual correction. Considering the Nebula Cosmos 4k is closest to this but nearly double the price with better specs I’ll be jumping on this.
This falls on to the triple Laser line up for sure. Big difference here is that the others are UST and this is not. You need to place this projector many feet away from the wall. The others just a few inches and you get over 100 inch screen
Could you give a little bit more information on the contrast ratio? It seems really low and more comparable to the Samsung and Anker options, which are no where near as bright.
Does the JMGO N1 Ultra Triple Laser 4K projector have the capability to turn off the screen so that, for example, you can put on a TH-cam music video and turn off the screen and just get the audio portion? Last week I bought the Dangbei Mars Pro 4k laser projector which I sent back after reading your review on the N1 Ultra 4K and ordered it the day the Kickstarter campaign started. The Dangbei has that capability to turn the screen off which I use to listen to relaxing music on TH-cam while going to sleep. The Dangbei has a 12,000:1 contrast ratio, while the JMGO N1 Ultra says it has 1,600 :1. How is your comparison of black levels on the JMGO vs Dangbei? Will I be kicking myself for sending the Dangbei back to order the JMGO????

Great review. Thank you! This might be a newbie question but will it enlarge/shrink the image to your liking no matter the distance away from the wall, so you can place it nicely in a room but still get a max 123”?
Hi Mike. Most projectors will allow you to digitally shrink the image (although you will lose resolution in doing so) and I am fairly sure this will be the same as there is no optical zoom mentioned. To get a 4k image at 123" you will need to place this around 12 feet from your projection surface. It has a throw ratio of 1.2:1 so you can calculate the distance needed by multiplying your desired screen size by 1.2.
That doesn't really look like 4000 Ansi lumens, which is almost double of what most manufactures offer at this size/pricing. I wonder if someone can measuer the real ansi lumens probably way lower.

It is an interesting product for sure. One thing I am not sure about. Is the high ANSI lumen to compensate for not being an UST projector?. To be honest I couldn't find a projector good enough to watch during day light as a TV replacement other than UST ones. the sharp angle with ALR screen designed for UST is the only combination that makes sense by physics laws.
Another reviewer measured the ANSI lumen output to be 2700, not the 4000 claimed, but still quite high. Also, i wrote to Vividscreen about which of there floor-rising screen to use with the N1 Ultra and the response was that they tested their UST screen with this projector and found it to be very good.
