@@hhattonaom9729 to be fair Dave is sticking to a principle of not gambling on single stocks. Would be a bit strange if he encouraged getting this type of stock. Me personally have never got this stock and I’m quite well off. It is a lower to middle class thing anyway to have stock like this. Not the type of thing to rely on to get rich quick... nothing is. That’s a peasant’s mentality or someone who doesn’t want to earn money. The best money in your account is money you earned..

If you understand the problem with compound interest, and compounding debt, you can see how the U.S. Dollar will end in hyperinflation. Has happened thousands of time in history. This is nothing new. The monetary system is designed to destroy itself.

Going to Dave for advice on cryptocurrency or investing in general is not the best idea. He specialises in clearing debt so will obviously prioritise that in his answer.
Couldn’t agree more, Dave bashes any successful investment opportunity that he himself has not capitalized on. It’s basically what happens when you become a rich snob and lose touch with reality. Like demanding every caller go deliver pizza to pay off their 300k student loan crisis. Pretty sure I’d be skipping town if I was 300k in the hole with no prospect of future employment lol.

It seems like the overwhelming majority of people who call in are either already making really good money or have dual income with a partner. I've never heard anyone call in making a realistic 30 to 40 thousand a year. "Hey Dave me and misses have a combined income of around 125k a year and gosh darnit we just can't seem to make it work!"

At what point will Dave "that's stupid!" Ramsey admit that he didn't or wouldn't understand digital currency? He should learn about stop losses, inflation (aka shrinking dollars), supply & demand, and should probably learn what "don't kill the goose that lays the golden eggs" means.

I was in the same boat but I cashed all of it out and paid off all of my debts. I’m currently debt free now.

If I had listened to advice like this from “experts” I would’ve missed out on life changing money. The fact of the matter is there is more than one way to skin a cat and no one is always right.

It blows my mind how absolutely blind these traditional finance guys are.
They said less than 10% of people become successful traders... But people don't consider the fact that less than 10% of small businesses succeed as well. Just like anything else you get out what you put in

Its already the 6th biggest currency in the world i highly doubt legacy Dave is going to figure out where this is going ever
Here is an example for what he needs to save for taxes for his 2021 return:
Example tripled income (He didn’t say what his original or what his current salary is) 80K
24% Taxes for the first 85K = $20,400
32% Taxes for the other 15K = $4,800
He should talk to a CPA or at least a tax expert for his exact number to save for next tax season.
And that's only for any realized gains (sell price minus his cost basis).
