The Sims 2 DON LOTHARIO House Renovation | Speed Build

- Welcome to the Sims 2 Pleasantview renovation project! ✨ We're starting with Don Lothario's house, 150 Main Street. 🛠️🏡
My goal is to make sims lot makeovers for ALL of the pre-made hoods (quite an ambitious project which might take me a lifetime to finish, we'll see 😅) I'm starting with the Pleasantview families, I'll move on to the community lots, and then start working on another neighborhood.
The plan is to, eventually, start a let's play series with a large sims 2 uberhood full of all sorts of uncommon couples and storylines.

This renovation fits Don so much with the colors and his lifestyle. A perfect bachelor condo for the hot upcoming doctor.

From my experience playing the sims 2: Yes. Electronics do get damaged if under the rain 😂 I didn’t want to believe it either.

I used to believe that too. If true, is further proof of how detailed the game is.
This renovation is SO beautiful! It really is perfect for Don! I love what you said about Don not cooking and just ordering take away - I 100% agree! In the EA version of his house, all he had was a toaster oven to cook with, so he definitely wouldn't mind the mirrors as a backslash.
I like what you did with the silhouette of the exterior, and all the interior details!! It really fits don, the custom content is so cool 😎 I’m excited to see more!

I think maxis create this very simple “undone” house so players can decorate or renovate them as that want. It like with scenarios where we have the beginning of stories and then people create their own storyline. So it’s more fun to play with premade families

Your CC is godly. I've been focusing on hair and clothing CC but this build makes me want to find all the new furniture! Great work :)

thanks to your videos, I also took the courage to repaint Don’s house in an unusual way.. True, he died from the sun as a vampire and now that blonde grand♀ vampire who bited him lives there XD (in the base game I like all the houses, although some of the designs seem strange.. but I guess that's normal for Americans)
By the way, will there be a possibility that the Nervous Object will run away to Pascal and there will be monogamy between the three main teenagers of Strangetown..? xD

By the way, I have an interesting situation with Don from another save:
I liked the idea that it didn't have a stove and didn't buy it. One day he, as an NPC, came to my business lot and bought a stove himself :D

Hi, I don't mind WCIFs and sharing links to CC. Pls point out what specifically you'd like (timestamps would be helpful 🙏). My downloads folder is very large and I've been collecting CC for many years so it would be difficult to share everything at once.

I used to use skyboxes for the hood&lots, but now I only use these skylines greatcheesecakepersona.tumblr.com/post/158813484310/download-post-updated-on-14042017-see-the They look quite realistic and are visible from the lots so it all looks perfect in-game.

Ah, Don, the epidemy of a Romance sim. When I had my uberhood in my own game, though he still went on dates with Nina a lot, he also went out on dates with other romance sims in town. Belle Donna [Strangetown Bella; clone]), Phoebe Adams (the good witch from Belladonna Cove), Chole Curious, Sharon Wirth and Chasity Gere.
Don also didn't get married to Cassandra Goth because John and Jennifer were able to dig up the shady history he had with the Caliente twins and prove the three of them were responsible for Bella's disappearance. Ultimately, Don had to live the rest of his life in poverty.
dang what a tragic ending to his life :0 but maybe he should have stopped poking around other people's wives as to not get in trouble xD
Random comment about Don, I think he is based on those Doctors from the 90s tv shows, know know those that used to romance all the people he treated and nurses.. so he would be kinda pretentious and all
He's a Leo, of course he thinks highly of himself (especially his looks) 😅
May I ask what your pc set up is. I’d love to play sims 2 again but I have a Mac and super collection only has half the expansions
I don't know much abt the Mac version of ts2 but I've heard it doesn't ha e all the EPs 🤔 and my setup Oh Lord... I just use a laptop 😅😭🔥💻 It's really nothing special and I'm in need of a new one, but any mid-tier laptop is good enough to run the sims 2 these days. It's an old game and unless you've got TONS of CC, mods and reshade it'll run well. I've got a Dell with an Intel core i5 processor and 8GB ram. If I were to get a new one, I think Lenovo has good gaming laptops at relatively affordable prices.
