Very good information on IBs. Worked for 2 years and it taught me a lot about life in general. However, I really liked the work life balance that I never had at all. The main idea of IB is to stay busy and just do what your supervisors direct you to do. I worked at Renaissance Capital based in Moscow. Is anyone here worked at RenCap?

I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $450k gains within months, I'm really just confused at this point.

A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

Ah!! In love with ur voice
I'm 25 years old commerce graduate with 1yr work ex as fraud analyst but now started pursuing cfa bcoz of my keen interest in core finance
But I'm struggling here to switch my job in finance roles provided lacking of any background knowledge for this industry
Can you please help me with how to navigate my career further or how and what should be my next steps except for passing cfa L1.
    P.S. I really need guidance.

Do you think IB gives you a better look into companies vs say Mgmt Consulting?

Hi amazing video!! keep up the good work!! I would like to work in an investment firm oneday as an analyst (either investment bank or private equity), and obviously since the industry is very competitive to get in, I was wondering if you could give me some insight about some odd jobs in the industry that could help me get a foot inside the door like a photocopie associate in the printing department, or a job in the mailroom , or a clerc. I might not get the analyst job but it would be good to get one of those odd jobs in the firm to start of with. Thanks

I love watching your videos and your accent! The work hours are quite long, but if I think about it, I had the same schedule in my first 10 years of work. Do you have a VP role?
