You're most likely using the same car. Make sure you're switching cars and not using the same peel that you used previously. I like to put wraps / different colors on mine to keep track

For everyone else: whenever you hit 100k @ x5 or 500k overall, end the skillchain you wont earn more skillpoints if you keep it going. if you dont want to use glitches or modded jobs for the gains, near the Main Festival you can easily farm a lot of points by drifting around in the Lambo and smashing cacti and bushes while you do so. Be careful about the rocks when you do this, its better to just end a skillchain and not collect maxpoints after one hit rather than the game counting two hits and you loosing the entire chain. Or just drive the Highway up and down really quick to collect "ultimate speed" skills, paired with knocking over Lamppoles that arent protected by rails (rails slow you down and you risk the game detecting you hitting the rails as an impact which might cost you the skillchain.

If you go in the 40-60 mph range your going to hit more objects and get more points and it still works
