You have a hitscan tank that oneshots you across the map. I dont know what else you want.
Yeah that's crazy powerful having 30m ceiling but I wonder if they might keep it in place as hitting a m5 recoiless would be much easier if you can predict while they are farming
The Wildcat is incredibly strong especially on this map the enemy just didn’t have an AA which did anything to Silk this game.
Would you be interested in making a new heli fly guide ? That explains like how to hover better, escape stuff, fly faster get more speed keyboard settings how to rotate on enemy's with out losing height or gain any so basically an basic and advanced guide on helis I found my self struggling flying it faster and flying it with more controll would be cool

Having tried so many times to learn Heli's... it's absolutely insane to me how good you and many others are with the controls for flying. Major props, pun intended.
Honestly, pick a control scheme (rifle aim recommended if ur on mnk) and play conquest against AI and try to get comfortable killing ground targets, while you do that you will learn how to fly and manoeuver the helis and maybe watch a few tutorials if ur stuck on why your heli won’t turn as fast as someone else’s for example, then take it into a real game and despair against the highly overpowered wildcat spawn campers :DDDDD
I managed to learn how to fly on mouse and keyboard in less than 3 days of practicing and it is wayyyyyyyy more fun and enjoyable than any other way of playing this silly game
The rocket launchers should do 42-45 per hit on a transport because if one person repairs the heli a little it takes 4 shots to kill instead of three. A small change to start nerfing the flying tanks

Wish I could keep the choppers aim more steady on ps5, as soon as you aim up or down it always goes too far over the target you aim at😔
People should know that Stinger doesn't work anymore if the little bird is flying below radar , Dice did it again 🤣🍌👌 other stuff is that we actually can see through smoke on the new map with night vision scopes on Sniper, now it's a sniper paradise 😅

Why don't you AGM soflamed air targets? Does it take too long? I'm curious not aggressive.
Is there anyway to fly that fast on controller? For some reason the helicopters feel sluggish.

Flying has indeed improved so much after this update. Right now it's mostly the Hind or the TOR Tank that ends my heli streaks
That's pretty telling how broken the balance is in this game.

How do you get so mutch speed at 4:22 ? Do you use W or S for this maneuver?
Yeah holds S and then W about 30m off the ground to prevent impact. It maintains the downwards momentum that you can convert to forwards momentum. Most people just use W while in choppers, but S really helps when used right.
Hey Silk! Do you know how to fix aircraft based input delay? It literate takes a half second for my jet/heli to respond to an input, as Infantry it is fine, but in aircraft it is unplayable.
Adjust the dead zones in the vehicle settings
So just to be clear, how is it that he initiated the fight, had good aim and still came out loosing with the other Heli? Is there any way to improve hitreg with gattlings apart from fps boost?
He didn't mentioned but he had that an dedicated repair dude. He is using one specialist that repairs 2x faster when the vehicle is low HP. You had no Chance there
How is your cross-hair sticking to infantry like that ? Lol everytime I have my crosshair on people I never hits em or I hit like 3 bullets I'm goos with dog fighting but infantry I'm suffering so bad

now to literally ruin an entire game for everyone just trying to play normally. literality no one except the person flying wants this kind of pilot in their game. taking out other vehicles makes total sense but when you just buzzing around instakilling random infantry is just annoying for everyone. literally no one wants to see a helicopter flipping around and running away to heal to full after getting hit once. cant do shit about it unless you stop what you want to do and change your whole class to be anti air. and then they just exploit mechanics to never be shot down. literally just an annoyance and a waste of time.

The whole game is pretty miserable like this. It shows a broken vehiclemeta. Very discouraging.
Maybe use AA? It's really not that hard.
@@jamesgreen1561 Y'all have so many options to take out vehicles. Litterally use the wildcat, Liz, the recoilless, Sundance, the railgun/NTW, another air vehicle, Rao, or finally stop doing the same thing over and over again expecting another outcome. (definition of insanity btw)

Yeah been noticing on old gen too that there are hackers , especially with there accounts being at such a low lv ! It’s honestly sad and annoying!
Once I got killed by heli for 8 times in raw, my team didn’t had any good pilots and they were dominating , that game lost by 0-800 tickets, I at F4 after that.

Do you always try to stay upright when firing at something, not strafing side to side like you would in past games?
For the most part yep. In this game aiming can be so fast with yaw only. I usually just roll as counter adjustment
@@SilkOCE will try to do that a bit more then. What with the flight assist it’s constantly pulling me up, down and all around to the point where I just get thrown off of the target. Might need to play some osu to get that finger control down 😎
@@thebulletkin8393 it's real awkward in this game. In bf4 you can change pitch and throttle all at the same time. In 2042 you kinda gotta do it independently

I practised in that game for 100s of hours and it feels like hardly any of it carries over besides general strategy and awareness.

Wildcat is the counter, just hope someone doesn’t spawn the RAM at the start because the wildcat is so important to shut down air at the start of the round. Unfortunately the wildcat once done its job doesn’t farm infantry as hard as the RAM.

As of now you can't lock on as infantry, don't know if that was meant to happen tho.

The stinger bug is so annoying. I would lock on, fire and the heli would just fly low and the missile loses its trajectory
I’m noticing they nerfed lis a little too much. The rocket turns slower than before it was even buffed
even tho you basically had a repair bot on your heli at all times, it was still some impressive gameplay
I've heard from other youtuber way before update that this feature is coming back "below radar".
How do you have such smooth controls? Even when using a keyboard on PC my aim is all over the place. I was ranked one of the best pilots in europe for bf4 as well which is even more demorilising.

I was in a game yesterday where you racked up 200 and something kills. I finished top5 on the other team and you gave me half my deaths haha.
Liz got nerfed so hard that on console is easier to use the manual rocket to kill a nighbird than her heavy and slow rockets

Did anybody else have any problems with the new nvidia drivers? I installed the new ones and ever since I’ve had games crashing. Specifically 2042 would crash like 30 secs to a minute after being in game
Had similar problems but it fixed when i checked corrupted files bf 2042 in steam

There is no way he is using default controls - any time I use the mini-gun on Nightbird, and go into pilot view and try and aim at infantry on ground... the gun sight jumps all over the place... impossible to aim and move the cross-hair slowly and smoothly.... it appears to jump left/right/up/down two or three CM (1") every time I use keyboard controls to move left/right/up/down. In these videos... the cross-hair stays dead center on enemy as he is shooting while also moving the helicopter around... this is impossible to do using normal control system!
They should nerf the hind and cordor health there basically tanks of the sky and you have 2 Crawford rapairing it that’s to op don’t you agree
You can understand how much the difference between keyboard and mouse between controller is in the use of heli from this video.
I’m on controller and I aim good too, it’s just about practice, many dudes on mouse suck.

Well for one you cannot lock onto aircraft sometimes at all now and it has made playing this game terrible because now matches are very one sided like 800-0 on average.

I miss flying in Battlefield, the lock on launchers take no skill to use so I tend to stay away from air in 2042, it's the only downside to modern day Battlefield games especially on Xbox, nearly all EU lobbies I play in tend to have 90% of the team running javelins, it's toxic asf, you spawn and instantly die because DICE doesn't understand how to balance things or create skill gaps
Not to be a mood breaker but doing some easy math the actual time was 18:50 minute which is far from 15 😐

tbh i like it that i can avoid constant lock ons by flying low. Stinger is probably the one thing you need the least skill for. Out of every weapon in every game i played so far. I dont see anything wrong that you can avoid something that cheap by flying low. And flying low does bring its own dangers. Let that be having a disadvantage against other helis challenging you, being in line of fire of every tank nearby/the TOR from anywhere across the map etc..
You are public enemy nr. 1 while flying a heli anyway. So just let people breathe a bit.

Why even use stingers in this game, the flare reloads so fast its not worth it and they miss alot even without use of flares.
@@Appeltaart48 actually you are right. If you have Skill there is actually no purpose in using the stinger. However, if you dont have skill the stinger is still VERY effective in keeping the heli behind cover. So even if you dont shoot it down, forcing it to retreat is of quite some value as well. Also in Heli fights stingers are very strong, and very unfun for the pilot.

this map shouldnt even have choppers in my opinion they advertised it as inf/tank and they go ahead and put the game wrecking chopper in the dam map , put a good pilot in these things and your games fucked specially after they debuffed the liz rockets lol, and im pretty sure they made the birds hitbox smaller also.

12:30 that‘s how it should be. No pilot should be able to survive an entire round without dying. Especially not with a glass cannon like the little bird. But I digress. Silk is the kinda guy who just wants to farm noobs while ruining the game for everyone else.

The bit that annoyed me is seeing the same person in the opposing heli every single time. Must literally sit there for half the game waiting for respawn.
Same with the start of the round, always the same person sniping the helis. No one else ever actually gets to play them!

I agree with the training wheels. I still hit helis with Lis but I can quite easily dodge them now. I think they nerfed her speed just a lil too much. 150 to 110 (when original was 100). Probably should be something like 120ish. Then only the "real" pilots will stay alive...
No one else ever gets to use helis in this game. There's always one person who hogs them for the whole round. It sucks.

When pilots like you are in a game life is just miserable for everyone else. Helis/pilots shouldn't be able to live like this regardless of how good they are. But on the flip side, worse pilots shouldn't get nuked within 2 seconds.

The vehicles in this game are noticeably less vicious than in previous BF titles. So it gets dull very quickly. Not to mention the broken flight physics.

The nightbird is too arcade, needs to be heavier, slower rate of fire and should be hard to control and aim, also the minigun should be removed and only rockets should be available in the primary slot.

DICE making a horde shooter now. I'm the most disappointed with the game now then at any time. Season 4 is horrible and most importantly annoying and no longer fun.

Yep... All engineers are nerfed too much. This is what the whining heli pilots want. To be OP. Sad that the biggest whiners get what they want. In Bad Company 2 & Battlefield 4 a couple of skilled engineers could keep the helicopter pilots in check. Sad... whiners win.
