Hey brother! Going into hood view for the pit stops can really help you line up with the arrows. Then you can just go back into cockpit view while they work on the car
I tried this for the first time this week, and it was much easier! I know some people call it cheating, but I can't afford to lose the time anymore haha.
Hey Bradley! It's so great to see your channel and experience growing! I'm getting started this month as well and I appreciate all the information I got through your videos yet! Congratulations to your partnership! Well deserved! Can't wait for more of your content. Thanks and I hope to see you on track soon! Greetings from Germany, Chris. :)
Thank you so much Chris! So cool to hear you are getting started this month, and best of luck for your first races! I think of people like yourself often when considering what content I share, so I hope it continues to help you. Let's see you on track soon!
Been waiting for this video! Please do more indepth dives in it. What is you oppinion on the rev-flash-indicator, do you use it? IMO it sometimes flashes at not optimal revs.
Yes there are plenty more points to dive into. I have started to use the community reference lap features with the gear shifts. Im not sure the flash is accurate for each car, but also in game it's not great either. When the reference lap is uploaded you can have the rpm reference on in the dash, and it shows the shift point of that reference lap. Been useful when learning new tracks, or new cars.
Glad you found it helpful. If you have more questions then please let me know! There are lots of cool products out there, so it can be hard to work out where to put your money down.
Wonderful tools but curious how it will work in VR, still bought it through your link :) Thanks for your tips! Just got podium in LFM rookie Brathurst, night race while i was trying to start in the back for a clean race, you know to get that SR up! In Split 2 of 4 From P14 to P3 and I didnt race pass anyone, all had fatal accidents ahead of me, what a track! 😂
Sorry I have no idea how it looks in VR. Would love your feedback on that once you have experienced it! Your Bathurst race sounds like pure chaos! I'm taking that on later in the week, and my SR is shaking in its boots haha.
It really is a valuable asset .... as long as you can take in and use the info .... with Knowledge comes power .... I personally like a clean view only having a track map in my top left and tires ,pedals, steering, and fuel in my bottom right ... but I do use crew cheif and he relays alot of info if setup correctly.... now how's Watkins Glen been 😅treating you ....I been threading the needle through some nasty crashes 😂
Yea having the tools doesn't mean you can automatically get the job done haha. But I find I make more educated decisions now, and it's helped me learn faster. Watkins has been good. Only got a small amount of races in, but I was able to put down good quali runs and kept me out of the drama. The Ferrari goes good around there haha. Nervous for Bathurst this week 😳
i've been using Armamentario overlay for a while, and then switched to ACC Drive. It might sound stupid, but one of the best features of ACC Drive for me is one time payment :) unlike other overlays that use subscription model. my only complaint about ACC Drive is somewhat outdated UI and the fact that i can't enter values manually and have to fiddle with those stupid sliders. p.s. you forgot to mention weather part which shows you exactly when rain will start or stop.
Yes the one time payment is great, and the fact that you still get all the updates as they are developed. There are a few features I haven't talked about, mainly as I haven't really experienced them enough. Would be an hour long video to discuss it all in-depth haha.
For the price, it's a no brainer. If you are in to acc, and serious about driving, buy the thing. Alot of the data i think is not needed, but it has some very useful features, especially for endurance racing. I never got it in my 900 hour of acc, but i definitely should have done.
I agree. I would struggling without it now haha. If you only sprint race then much of it is not needed as you said, but it takes so much guess work out of the longer races for strategy calls. Glad I found it so early on (or it found me haha)
idk if you have noticed but there is a hiss/humming noise in the mic audio I've noticed this in previous video's too so don't think that it is me but it could be... Great video once again 👌👌
I’m looking at getting back into sim racing, I haven’t done any for about 8 or so years. I find the prospect of building a pc very daunting do you have any recommendations, keep up the great videos
This was the hardest part of the set up for me. I talk about it a bit on my rig tour video. But my advise is know what you screen set up you want to run, and what level of graphics you want to run it at. And then find someone to help build a PC to that spec. So I found a small business close to me, and they even had PCs on their website spec'd for playing ACC. But the last thing you want is to under spec your PC and not have it do what you want!
It should have localized prices like Steam does with the game. It's not everyone that receives in euros and in a lot of countries, this price comes to be more expensive than the complete game.
Hey thanks for checking it out. ACC Drive only lists a price in Euros, so I really have no other way to break it down. Also this video is more a response to the number of people who have asked me about what overlays I use, and I’m not really trying to ‘sell’ it as such. But let me check with the crew and see if I can’t add a price list for everyone here 😀
@ Thx, but I really was not talking about your work in this video (that is very good). Sorry for that impression. I was only talking about the product pricing. Your video makes me want the program, but for the game price, is too much for me (and I bet for a lot of people).
Hmm interesting question. I have all these overlays on the game play screen, and then am just capturing that screen in the recording. Are you trying to have the overlays as a seperate layer on your stream and not on your game play screen?
@@BradleySettersMotorsport When I use StreamLab OBS, it only shows ACC without ACC Drive overlay. If I enable OBS mode in OBS, it displays, but the "Pit line/info" will not disappear until needed. Also, sometimes, the entire overlay disappears randomly.
Ah for the normal pit stop page on ACC? The seconds of damage repair are on top of the normal pit stop time. So 30 seconds is normal stop time for fuel and tyres, and then the damage is the seconds on top of that. If that answers the question?
So right now I have left the MFD menu for that reason. The ACC leader board is good, but I see most people have to put it in a different part of the screen so that they can continue to use the in game MFD. Just makes the view to busy for me.
As a person who started acc on Console.... pc is the real acc .... if servers go down you can't play on pc we just use a connection application and join lobbies manually..... but if you can't afford a pc just have fun and train for when you get one .... because you will 😂
For me, braking fully when I see 10.0m in the pitlane HUD gives good results with stopping it in the box 👍 The final position just needs to be at most 0.5m away to get picked up right away
I have downloaded race, labs and race elements cant Get the overlays to stay on screen, so if I paid for it work for me. And is there a video on how to use the program?
To me that sounds like you need put the ACC game into what I believe is called 'windowed' mode. When I bring up ACC I press ALT+Enter twice and then that allows the Drive app to run on top of ACC. Could be that is stopping those other apps working properly. But when you buy ACC Drive you can access the full user manual in your account that runs you through all of that stuff.
@ thanks mate for your reply I’ll look in to it. How long did it take you to get better at ACC. I join a discord group and started racing , but they all are very fast up to 5 to 6 seconds quicker .
I wish ACC Drives was better optimized. On my system. i7 6950x and RTX2080ti i take a HUGE frame rate hit. ~33% on nords24hr. I drop from 100 fps (triple 1440s) to low 60s even 40s early race. Its bad. Information is great. But not at a cost of performance. It has to do with windows scheduler. I have 10 cores. Acc uses 4. Acc drives uses 2. But it wants to use 2 of the same as ACC.....
Yea I don't really know the technical details. Obviously the benefit is all the extra information, but I can see it being a bit of work to pull it all from the game in real time. Maybe a slimmed down version of the app would be nicer on the system, but probably lots of good options out there for that. But your right, you wouldn't take the information for that sort of cost in performance!
Thank you. Hopefully that means you like how I have laid them all out haha. You can basically place them where ever you like, but maybe I can share all of that at some point.
Dude this looks amazing ! Definitely going to get this
I really like it. Its been so so helpful to me! Let me know if you have questions about it.

Yellow flag indicator is worth the price alone. Has saved me multiple times while it wrecked others (who didn't use it).
It's such a helpful feature right! I often find its quicker to pick up yellow flags then the game is as well.

How do you get it to overlay properly for live streaming? I am having issues with ACC Drive not displaying when I set it up for stream.

@@MR_GT78 Sounds like an odd issue. Im not really sure what's causing that. I would say jump onto the ACC Drive Discord group, and ask the team there.
