I use the free version, which just lets me see the brake telemetry, and i am able to get within a couple of seconds of top speed on any track. I dont use it all the time, but it's nice to have it at my disposal
I bought this app on a discount thing recently. It is good but giving measurements rather than simpler instructions is not good. If there are no obvious markers then guesstimating a distance is very difficult. Also some popular circuits have no real time data. I know you're an honest guy but in my humble opinion this product needs some more work to justify that price tag.
That's what is making me not try it, I will even refrain from using the 7-day trial until they fix it, if they ever do it. In a post-practise session it is great to say "brake 50 m earlier here" or "apply 10% more brake pressure", but during practise it makes no sense, a percentage isn't useful while you're I'm driving. They say they've studied how real coaches operate, but coaches would tell you "brake a bit earlier" or "brake a bit later" until you find the spot. Also giving visual references, something that this ai can't do. And by the way, I have read that it cannot even know if your driving lines are good because iRacing doesn't provide that data in real time? So it's assuming that you are on the ideal line all the time, meaning that if you don't know the line you have to go watch a video or something anyways. I feel that until this thing can use visual input to know where you are on track, what's wrong with your line, give you visual markers for braking, etc. this is just a cool driving aid but not that revolutionary.
Yeah I tried it as well and it's hard to keep track of what corner the AI is talking about while trying to remember what I did last lap on the current corner. I honestly get more use out of a visual delta. Would love to see a live track overlay comparing my line to a faster line. That would be super useful.
Im messing with it a bit this week, I think the best feature is just being able to pull up your laptime against the expert one and knowing what corners your worst at, it's not perfect but it does seem like a good tool. But yeah the price is kinda high and hopefully they add a few more games eventually.
@@ewenblack4174unlike you, some of us do this shit to save money during the off season because we have REAL cars we track and need to fund. In the end this shits a video game. Not all of us want to spend $10k just to sim race efficiently because everything costs an arm and a leg. Some of us actually touch grass buddy 😂

I was a participant in the Beta and it’s really good but £12 is a lot every month when the iracing service is only £80 per year with the Black Friday sales. Maybe worth it at tracks you’re struggling with for one off month subs.
Pretty cool. Does the app give you info on the experts lap fuel load and also which lap in a stint the expert lap is? The condition of the tyres are quite important for how much apex speed u can carry etc. As you know.
I just d-loaded it and ran about 25 laps. I can't figure out how to get the coach to talk to me. I got the over lays up, but no voice giving me instructions. Any suggestions, anybody?
Thank you. That worked. As an old fart I still wish there was an "Overlays" clearly labeled instead of having to find it inside another menu. Are you listening Ben?? 🙂
@louiienation8497 good question, it's a rough idea, and where every your reference point is for breaking you eek it back a bit or forward a bit, over time you get better at it, but obviously doing 250kph, it's always a rough idea
What is the point in them offering a trial if all the features are locked lol, the point of a trial is to try everything before committing, like the look of it but that is a predatory sales tactic. Good video tho Jack
I see how this is a great tool to go faster and is incredibly useful. But I am dead against ai. I think it is dangerous. I know this program is not as dangerous as others like the chat bots but I still wouldn’t use it.

Using it for the last couple of weeks, sincerely in love with it, I even use it for races.
Great vid, full of facts rather than trying to convince you to buy it. I’ve watched other vids but never felt like pulling the trigger until now.
It’s not worth it.
You wouldn’t be recommending it if they weren’t paying you.

2:55 why is the track map backwards?
15 bucks a month? It's cool but that's wayyy too expensive.
I'm so sick of subscriptions. It a money grab.
Budget sim racers are such cry babies… go find a cheaper hobby like collecting leaves!

Jackzer this looks unreal, would definitely be interested, does it work with other sims or just Iracing?
iRacing, ACC, and F1 24, says on the bottom after clicking the Features button.
Giving it a try using your affiliate link. Wish me luck 😊

@randylloyd6612 open Mansel ai, and press start and you should be good to go :)
On the telemetry box there’s a text window icon. Click that and it opens the verbal AI coach

How to use the overlay in VR?
How do you measure 5 meters? I’m having a hard time trying to figure that out.

@@JACKZERYT thanks for the explanation. Makes sense! I need to try out this coach.
Does this work with all sims?
Can you show how to set this up to use on vr?

First
How well does this work with VR?
It would work exact same. Maybe have to use openkneeboard to add the overlays
In our app, we have instructions on how to use our app in VR using OpenKneeboard 😊
