Cinnamon-raisin bread is and always will be one of my most favorite breads. Toasted and topped with butter or made into French toast, I am always 100% in for having some. Thank you so much for making this. I feel extra special that you did and that it was just made for me. Wish I could hang with you and Mr. Fox, and enjoy some of this with you both. Thank you again! Be safe and take care! 😊🤎🍞🤎🫖🤎☕
Bread is such a rewarding thing to prepare. Cinnamon Swirl Bread from The Better Homes and Gardens cookbook was the first bread that I made when I was around 9 years old. Brings back so many memories!
I’m making these buns today! Loving your channel, Kevin. You were at 50k views during this video. (Thinking of your childhood…I speed through Spokane often when heading to visit my sister on the coast. I lived in WA for 11 years and met my husband there)
That’s the most perfect looking Cinnamon Swirl Bread I have ever seen. Great job. I can’t write anymore, as I am heading to the kitchen to make this right now. Thank you for the recipe. Hugs!
Bread is done and cooled. It is delicious and beautiful. Everyone loved it in the family. I did add more sugar than you did, as I like a sweeter cinnamon swirl bread. It is a wonderful recipe. Thanks so much. I’ve copied it into my files. Just got informed 1/3 of it is gone, and my husband wants more!😮
Oh my Kevin....cinnamon & raisin 🍞!! Such a treat!! The swirl was on point & the loaf looks like it came from a professional Baker's shop!! As always, you made it look so easy & delicious!! Thanks for the recipe!! Much 💚to you & Mr.Foxx & the furr babies!! ☕🐾🍞🐾🍵
I would like to see you make Beef Wellington. My mother used to make it with expensive roast, but also with ground hamburger meat in the same process for a less expensive dinner that was still delicious. Same process that I was dumb enough not to watch. I'd like to make it if you show us how. Thank you.
I Will have to try this. However I would like to soak the raisins in some ALMOND liquor or make an additional of an ALMOND paste layer which I can only imagine will be absolutely decadent..OH so yummy
I am watching this on November 18, 2022 and the news today is talking about a horrible snow blizzard in upper state New York. I hope you and Mr. Fox and the animals are safe and sound. Bake more bread! That will warm up the kitchen.
looks delicious! I don't like plumping up raisins with water either.. If you serve it for tea, you might like to plump them in rum! We do that for our Christmas cake and it is delicious!
Hi Tallglassofh2o -- If your milk is pasteurized, you do not have to scald it first. Just warm it to 105-110°F. I've never tested this bread with vegetable oil (as opposed to shortening). If you decide to experiment, please let me know how the loaf works out for you!
I like your recipe I made your cabbage casserole it was dó good with my meal I'm going make your raisin bread It looks véry simple

Looks soo good👍💖
That looks pretty darn good and not too difficult to make. I think that bread would be the perfect compliment to the fig jam I made.
Dam looxs good. Gonna try it soon.
Looks great.
Ok Kevin I have to try this cinnamon++ looked like a lot but as you sliced it I get why
Love this recipe
Thank you

If I have to plump my raisins, I’ll use a little bit of brandy

I soak mine in brandy. Just an idea.
What size is the marble board you are using? Thank you.
Hi Vicki - Marble board is 20x16 inches. I purchased the board from a local kitchen supply store.
@@kevinleejacobs1364 Thank you very much.
why scalded milk? and can I use vegetable oil instead of shortening?

KEVIN IT'S ARLENE ON HUBBYS COMPUTER, I HAVE A QUESTION: CAN I USE MILK POWDER INSTEAD OF WHOLE MILK IN YOURR RECIPES????
Hi Arlene - for bread recipes that call for milk, you can use milk powder mixed with water. (Some of my bread recipes call for straight milk powder.)
@@kevinleejacobs1364 THANK YOU FOR REPLY.ARLENE
Oh my… raisins 😅, can that be substituted by dried cranberries (or something else?)
Or better skip the raisins all together?
Home made candied orange peel?
👌👍👍
I soak my raisins in just a little bit of rum. 😂
I'm confused! I thought you did not like to use raisins in recipes.
