@mistymountain7661 No, I dont want people to believe in a religion on false pretences. But I would speak to your lecturer about the objections regarding this topic. If what he is teaching here is provably false, what else is? Even if it has nothing to do with islam.

@Scipio-yt7ev I'm pursuing a degree in engineering rn, and my lecturer doesn't even intended to teach about religion. It wasn't supposed to be a deep talk, it was a chit chat between me and him, and I would be against it if it were spoken in my class.

    Refutation:
    1. Life being water-based is not exclusive to islam. The ancient sumerians believed that all life came from the (primordial) water. It's kind of a no-brainer that when water is necessary for survival and therefore life, and that a lot of our body (blood, sweat, tears, urine, saliva, bile) is water based.
    2. The verse says "سَّمَاءَ" which means heaven, not the universe, the arabic word for which (الْعَالَمِينَ) is used elsewhere in the Qur'an. Some apologists try to say the word can also mean the sky (which they say includes space) but this is a stretch to say the least, besides, hindu texts shiva purana 2.5.50.29 and laghu yoga vasitha 4:4. Also, say the unuverse is expanding and may possibly come before the Qur'an, isaiah 40:22 also says similar referring to heaven (or the universe using the same wordplay muslims do)
    3. That comes with the unproven assumption that all epochs are the same, but it's not an impressive guess, the six day creation myth was already there and earth is described in the early stages, not impossible at all to say earth was created on the second day (epoch) out of six possible days (answers) with a better inclination to pick an earlier day due to that being pre-established in mythology.
    4. As for the "iron miracle," A burial inscription in egypt dated to 1285bc reads "bia-n-pet" which means "iron from the sky" ancient egyptians already wrote about this. So i guess pagans are miraculous.
    5. A forelock is a lock of hair at the front, which was being metaphorically referenced but whatever, many parts of the brain are involved in decision making and lying such as:
The Anterior cingulate cortex That Helps detect conflicts between telling the truth and lying, as well as managing the stress or guilt that might come with deception.
The amygdala that is Involved in emotional responses, including guilt, fear, and anxiety when lying. Repeated lying can actually reduce amygdala activity, making lying easier over time.
The Parietal Lobe that Assists in processing complex information and managing deception-related tasks.
Temporal Lobe that is Important for memory and language processing, which are needed to construct believable lies.
To throw a song and dance about the frontal lobe is the texas sharpshooter fallacy. As are your number miracles I'll address later.
    6. Muhammad and therefore allah, never divided the quran into verses so youre claiming that uthman who inserted these numerical "messages" into the Qur'an is the final messenger, not muhammad which is tantamount to shirk.
They are all just coincidences based on aritrary counting, you count the letters, excluding diacritics, and not words in only selective verses in the quran. Six verses mention the word "horse" yet you've only picked the one that has your desired count, why not the other five?
There is a near infinite way to count things and fabricate miracles, I shall now do it with shakespesres sonnet 66.
The letter combination "pi" is used only twice in the sonnet. ("Unhappily" and "limping:) If you count the letters to the first instance of "pi" you get 113 letters. If you then count up the letters to the second instance you get 242 letters, if you add the letter count of the two instances up and divide by the letter count of the first instance you get (113+242)/113=3.141592 which is pi accurate to six decimal places, one on a million chance! amazing! And the sonnet number is 66 which emphasizes the 6 dp!
If we add up the six decimal places (1+4+1+5+9+2) and multiply that by the first digit of pi (3) the we get 66!
sonnet 66 also predicted the atomic numbers of several elements of the periodic table which could not have been known in Shakespeare's time.
If you count the letters between the first and second mention of "ca" (calcium), you get 20 letters which is calciums atomic number
The number of words between the first and last instances of "in" (indium) is 49 which is its atomic number.
The letter combination "te" (tellurium) only occurs once on the 6th line, the word count to the end of the sonnet is 52 which is the atomic number of tellurium.
The number of words the are in-between the first and last instance of the letter "w" (tungsten) is 74 which is the elements atomic number.
The number of words from the first instance of "ce" (cerium) to the end of the poem is 58, which is ceriums atomic number.
    www.shakespeares-sonnets.com/sonnet/66
Oh, and here's 45 minutes of bible numerical miracles: th-cam.com/video/N3PgIW6Gt-E/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
The prescence of mathematical patterns in other texts despite using just a small range of few simple arrithmatic patterns is enough to refute the proposed mathematical miracles in this post.
    For your "365" miracle claim:
The word يوم (day) in all its forms appears 475 times in the Qur'an.
The word يوم appears 445 times in its singular form in the Qur'an.
The word يوم in its basic form (consisting only of the trilateral root ي - و - م (ya - waw - mim) without any suffix/prefix letters and while ignoring the differences in diacritics) appears 217 times in the Qur'an.
To arrive at 365 occurrences, apologists exclude 3 dual and 27 plural forms, 10 singular occurrences with suffixed possessive pronouns and 70 forms of the word يومئذ (yawma-ithin, which means "that day"), but allow 91 words with prefixes بِ (bi), وَ (wa), فَ (fa) or لِ (li). They also allow 75 occurrences with the ال (al) prefix, although اليوم (al-yawm) often means "today".
The Arabic word nahaar (نهار), which also means "day", is completely ignored by apologists. If we added its 57 occurrences to the 475 occurrences of yawm (يوم), that would be 532 occurrences of "day".
    As for your "month miracle"
The word شهر does not appear in the Qur'an 12 times, but 21 times.
The word شهر appears 9 times with a singular meaning.
The word شهر in its basic form (consisting only of the trilateral root ش - ه - ر (shin - ha - ra) without any suffix/prefix letters and while ignoring the differences in diacritics) appears 4 times in the Qur'an.
You say that The word rajul (man) and the word imra (woman) are both mentioned 24 (why not 23?) times. And that is a miracle.
The word count 24 is achieved by arbitrarily ignoring all dual and plural forms.
Forms with suffixes and prefixes are arbitrarily counted although in the 365 days miracle, they were not counted.
All the words meaning "man" with the root امر are ignored.
This word count includes the controversial word (رَجُلًا, rajulan) from the verse 7:155, which is in the singular form, but is clearly talking about seventy men (سَبْعِينَ رَجُلًا, sabAAeena rajulan).
The entire word count also excludes mentions of "male" and "female" which are analagous to "man" and "woman"
I can't be bothered to post refutations to every word count miracle but wikiislam published a full article refuting them all (wikiislam.net/wiki/Word_Count_Miracles_in_the_Qur%27an)
"Centi-light years" is one of the funniest ways of measuring things I have ever read. Could God have not encoded 8.61 instead of having to multiply it by 100.

O humanity! A lesson is set forth, so listen to it ˹carefully˺: those ˹idols˺ you invoke besides Allah can never create ˹so much as˺ a fly, even if they ˹all˺ were to come together for that. And if a fly were to snatch anything away from them, they cannot ˹even˺ retrieve it from the fly. How powerless are those who invoke and those invoked!
Just search how fly eats the food. How could Muhammad knew this
mechanism of eating food which is impossible to retrieve?
You missed the part about big bang? Why?
Why would Quran copy the right things only?
“The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed),- even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it. (Surah Anbiya 21:104)
This verse is predicting one of the theory of how universe would end? How could this be even thought of?
The forelock is sinful is pretty obvious. The cognitive desicion is from forelock. Eveyone knows this logic is from the forelock and concious decision is from forelock.
Its not a metaphor. Its clear lying and sinful.
The sky is the space part and the earth are terrestrial part which celestial body. Sky is called samaa which implies the expansion.
Mentioning of earth in two days is coincidence?
Why would all the right things are copied?
Uthman arranged according to the dictates of earlier copy which was already there and dictated by the prophet. God already promised its collection in one place
It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it (Quran 75:17)
      God arranged it not uthman.

@247artsnsourcing6 I did not "miss" the part about the big bang. In fact, i directly addressed it, but if you're hyperfixating about the earth and heavens being one before being split, rather than the heavens expanding, this, too, is nothing new.
A babylonian epic known as Enuma elish says, "In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment, they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end."
So i suppose these babylonian idolatrers are prophets by your logic then.
What you said about logic and decision making being in the prefrontal cortex is laughable. For example, the parietal lobe is responsible for essential mathematical reasoning, spatial processing, and integrating sensory information to support a logical conclusion in favour of lying.
Whilst the basal ganglia covers procedural thinking and decision-making by filtering relevant information and reducing cognitive noise, essential for the logical conclusion to lie as well.
If what I have said is wrong, please feel free to give me an academic source that says the logical decision to lie is entirely up to the prefrontal cortex.
The bible also mentions the universe being "rolled up" in 1 hebrews 10-12
"In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment, they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end."
Your "fly" example is laughable. Flies are hard to catch. How is this miraculous knowledge and not a literal no-brainer?
You also say, "Why did the Qur'an only copy the right things?" You claiming the quran "copied" other books, some being written by idolatrers, already insults what you see as gods final word. But it also copies wrong ideas, such as quran 23: 12-14, saying that a foetus skeleton is formed before muscles and skin, which is wrong as science has proved it to be a simultaneous process.

    • @247artsnsourcing6
      @247artsnsourcing6 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

@ just search on youtube how fly eats the food. This challenge is very serious. The fly can be caught today but you cannot bring what it took back from the food.
Read properly. Its not the fly that cannot be catched. Its the food that cannot be bring back. We can easily catch the fly today but still cannot bring what it takes because fly release acidic enzymes and convert it into liquid state and then drink it and no one can bring back that part of the food again. Its challenge to the invokers who are humans and invoked who are false dieties that human worship.
Quran and torah and New Testament are from God and obviously they may retain its truth. But the Quran description of scroll is exactly how you see the theory has been proposed.
It can also prove Quran and bible both are from same source. They all speak God has created this universe with truth and it will end like big crunch.
So believe in God and do good.
Quran is perfectly scientific on embryology and the skin and bones are just your fault finding. The basic sense of the three layers of darkness and the exact visual representation of the embryo is miraculous. You cannot take away this.
The Quran speaks itself as author if this universe who made heaven’s and the earth and humans. Big bang and big crunch and humam birth all are nature modus operandi which Quran has predicted exactly what science understanding is.
If 2500 years ago some people knew about this fact how does this disprove Quran? It may also prove what earlier believed has truth in it as well. Quran is picking the scientific facts from them which would prove true in modern times?
If i discovered something today and 2000 years ago same thing was said by some person. Does that mean i copied for sure?

I loved every part of the video except for the magical patterns i've searched the numbers of month in quran and i found your info is innacurate i don't know about the rest patterns if they're also innacurate. and also fun fact the iron chapter is 57 and quran has 114 chapter the iron chapter is in the middle as iron is concentrated in the center of the earth

The word “month” (شهر - Shahr) is mentioned 12 times in the Qur’an. Here are all the verses where it appears:
      1. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:185)
“The month of Ramadan [is that] in which the Qur’an was revealed, as guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion…”
      - Mentions Ramadan as the month of Qur’an’s revelation.
      2. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:194)
“A sacred month is for a sacred month, and [for] all violations there is legal retribution…”
      - Refers to sacred months in the Islamic calendar.
      3. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:217)
“They ask you about fighting in the sacred month. Say, ‘Fighting therein is a great [sin]…’”
      - Mentions the prohibition of fighting in sacred months.
      4. Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:2)
“Do not violate the rites of Allah or [the sanctity of] the sacred month…”
      - Reinforces respect for sacred months.
      5. Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:97)
“Allah has made the Ka’bah, the Sacred House, standing for the people, and [has sanctified] the sacred month…”
      - Mentions the sacred months alongside the Ka’bah’s importance.
      6. Surah At-Tawbah (9:36)
“Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve months in the register of Allah from the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred…”
      - Confirms there are 12 months in a year, 4 of which are sacred.
      7. Surah At-Tawbah (9:37)
“Indeed, postponing [of the sacred months] is an increase in disbelief…”
      - Criticizes altering the sacred months for convenience.
      8. Surah Maryam (19:26)
“So eat and drink and be contented. And if you see from among humanity anyone, say, ‘Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Merciful a fast, so I will not speak today to [any] man.’”
      - The Arabic word شهرًا (shahran) is used here, meaning “a month”, referring to a period of fasting.
      9. Surah Al-Qasas (28:27)
“He said, ‘Indeed, I wish to marry you to one of my two daughters on [the condition] that you serve me for eight years, but if you complete ten, it will be as a favor from you…’”
      - Mentions a period of years (which includes months) in the context of Prophet Musa’s service.
      10. Surah Al-Ahqaf (46:15)
“And his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months…”
      - Mentions the total period of pregnancy and breastfeeding (30 months).
      11. Surah Al-Qamar (54:19)
“Indeed, We sent upon them a screaming wind on a day of continuous misfortune.”
      - The Arabic word used is شهر (month), referring to continuous punishment.
      12. Surah Al-Qamar (54:20)
“Extracting the people as if they were trunks of uprooted palm trees.”
      - Mentions divine punishment lasting for a significant period.

In case of your example, the very next verse says that He put mountains and sustenance in next 2 days. So will you now say that the Earths age is 4/6 of the universe... The the video is logically wrong from the very beginning 😭
Even If you somehow prove Quran is NOT from human origin, that doesn't necessarily mean it's from divine origin, it only means that's not from human origin and just that, the question of where it's from would be a mystery, the jump to divine origin requires it's own proof and set of arguments. All the talk about being logical just to start off being critically wrong is just embarrassing.

      Let us see:
      1st verse:
Awa-lam "Did they not" / "Have they not"
      يَرَ Yara "See" / "Consider"
      ٱلَّذِينَ Alladhina "Those who"
      كَفَرُوٓا۟ Kafaru "Disbelieved"
      أَنَّ Anna "That" / "Indeed"
      ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ As-Samawat "The heavens" (plural)
      وَٱلْأَرْضَ Wal-Arda "And the earth"
كَانَتَا Kanataa "Were" (dual feminine, referring to both heavens and earth)
      رَتْقًۭا Ratqan "A joined entity" / "A closed-up mass" / "Sealed together"
فَفَتَقْنَـٰهُمَا Fafataqnahuma "So We separated them" / "Split them apart"
      وَجَعَلْنَا Wajaʿalna "And We made"
      مِنَ Min "From"
      ٱلْمَآءِ Al-Maʾi "The water"
      كُلَّ Kulla "Every"
      شَىْءٍ Shayʾin "Thing"
      حَىٍّ Ḥayyin "Living"
أَفَلَا Afala "Then will they not"
      يُؤْمِنُونَ Yuʾminun "Believe"
"Did those who disbelieve not see that the heavens and the earth were once a joined entity (ratqan), so We separated them (fataqnahuma), and We made every living thing (kulla shay’in hayyin) from water? Then will they not believe?" It is the same translation just different synonyms for the words.
Ratqan (رَتْقًۭا) is "A joined entity"
The root ر-ت-ق R T Q means to be closed up, sealed, or inseparable, which you can interpret as before the big bang
"Fataqnahuma" (فَفَتَقْنَـٰهُمَا) is "We separated them"
The root ف-ت-ق F T Q means "to split, tear apart, or cause separation."
This is talking about when the universe expanded The Big Bang itself.
      "Min Al-Maʾi Kulla Shayʾin Ḥayyin" (مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ)
      "From water, every living thing."
Another miraculous statement in the same verse, the idea that every living thing is made from water, this idea was never shared before.
The closest idea to this is statements from Greek philosopher Thales of Miletus (c. 624-546 BCE) He proposed that water is the fundamental substance of all things.
However, he did not say that every living thing is made from water, only that water is the principle of existence. This was a more philosophical view.
      2nd verse:
      وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَـٰهَا بِأَيْيْدٍۢ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ (Quran 51:47)
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ Wa as-samaʾa "And the heaven" / "And the universe" / "And the sky"
بَنَيْنَـٰهَا Banaynaha "We built it" / "We constructed it"
      بِأَيْيْدٍ Bi-aydin "With power/strength"
وَإِنَّا Wa inna "And indeed, We"
      لَمُوسِعُونَ Lamusi'un "Are surely expanding"
"And the universe We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [surely] expanding it." Exactly the same translation.
"Banaynaha" (بَنَيْنَـٰهَا) is "We built it"
From the root ب-ن-ي (B-N-Y), meaning "to build, construct, establish."
This implies a deliberate act of creation, reinforcing the idea of an intelligently designed universe.
      "Bi-aydin" (بِأَيْيْدٍ) is "With power/strength"
From the root ي-د Y D, meaning "hand, power, ability."
This signifies that the construction of the heavens was done with great might.
"Lamusi‘un" (لَمُوسِعُونَ) is "We are surely expanding"
From the root و-س-ع W S ‘A, meaning "to expand, widen, extend."
The word "Musi‘un" (مُوسِعُونَ) is in the active form, implying a continuous expansion.
This aligns with modern cosmology, which confirms that the universe is continuously expanding.
You can check all the sahih international translations in quran.com

Also, you’re bringing up Quran 7:54 (six days) and Quran 41:9 (two days) to defend Islamic creation? Let’s examine the contradictions:
    1. How Many Days? Contradictions Exposed
Quran 7:54: Says Allah created the heavens and the earth in six days.
    Quran 41:9-12: Breaks creation into 2 days (earth) + 4 days (provisions) + 2 days (heavens) = 8 days.
That’s a contradiction-was it six or eight? If the Quran is from Allah, why the inconsistency?
    2. The Meaning of “Ayyam” (Days) Is Conveniently Flexible
Some claim "ayyam" doesn’t mean 24-hour days but can mean thousands of years.
Yet in Quran 22:47, it says “a day with Allah is like 1,000 years”, while in Quran 70:4, it says “50,000 years”.
So, is a day 24 hours, 1,000 years, or 50,000 years? The inconsistency shows this is not divine precision but human vagueness.
    3. Biblical Clarity vs. Quranic Confusion
Genesis 1 in the Bible clearly states a logical sequence of creation.
The Quran, on the other hand, mixes timelines, uses vague terms, and contradicts itself. If the Quran is supposed to be “perfect,” why does it need reinterpretation every time science advances?
    Final Thought:
If Allah’s words are truly clear, why do Muslim scholars argue over what “day” even means? The contradictions in the Quran’s creation story prove that it’s not divinely inspired but filled with human errors.

    • @rathernotsay4265
      @rathernotsay4265 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      First Claim:
The Quran contradicts itself on the number of days of creation. Quran 7:54 says Allah created the heavens and the earth in six days, but Quran 41:9-12 supposedly says 2 days (earth) + 4 days (provisions) + 2 days (heavens) = 8 days, proving inconsistency.
      Refutation:
This argument falls apart instantly with basic reading skills.
Quran 41:9 says the Earth was created in 2 days.
Quran 41:10 says mountains, provisions, and sustenance were completed in four days, which INCLUDES the first two days (because, obviously, providing for the Earth is part of its creation).
Quran 41:12 says the heavens were completed in 2 days.
So the real calculation is 2 (Earth) + 2 (Provisions) + 2 (Heavens) = 6 days, exactly like Quran 7:54 says. But sure, let’s just ignore Arabic grammar and pretend we found a contradiction.
Even CLASSICAL Islamic scholars (Ibn Kathir, Al-Tabari, Al-Qurtubi) (who actually knew Arabic) confirm that "in four days" refers to the total time for Earth and provisions, not additional time. But go ahead, keep embarrassing yourself by miscounting.
      Rating
3/10 - Below average. You fumbled basic math and failed to notice that the verse literally explains itself. Nowhere does it say "an additional four days," but I guess logical thinking isn’t your strong suit.
      Second Claim:
The Quran is inconsistent about the length of a "day." Quran 22:47 says a day is 1,000 years, while Quran 70:4 says a day is 50,000 years, proving the Quran contradicts itself.
      Refutation:
Wow, this is painfully bad. The Quran never says all days are the same length-that’s just something you made up to pretend there’s a contradiction.
Quran 22:47 (1,000 years) is about how time feels different for God vs. humans when people ask why divine punishment takes so long.
Quran 70:4 (50,000 years) is about how long the Day of Judgment will last.
These are two completely different contexts-one is about divine perception of time, the other is about a specific event. That’s like saying, "A school day is 6 hours, but a business day is 8 hours! Contradiction!" No, just different situations.
And here’s the best part: The Quran actually describes time as relative, which modern science confirms (Einstein’s theory of relativity). Meanwhile, the Bible locks creation into six literal 24-hour days, which is scientifically wrong. So, congratulations-you just made an argument that backfires on you completely.
      Rating
1/10 - Straight-up embarrassing. If you think a day is a fixed length everywhere in the universe, I suggest looking up how long a day is on Jupiter (9 hours). Does that mean NASA is contradicting itself? No, it just means you don’t understand how time works.
      Third Claim:
Genesis 1 in the Bible provides a clear and logical sequence of creation, while the Quran mixes timelines, uses vague terms, and contradicts itself. If the Quran were truly divine, why would it need constant reinterpretation every time science advances? Also, if Allah’s words are so clear, why do Muslim scholars argue over what "day" even means? The contradictions in the Quran’s creation story prove that it’s not divine but filled with human errors.
      Refutation:
Oh, so now you suddenly care about time inconsistencies? Alright, let's turn your own argument back on you.
Genesis 1 literally claims that plants were created before the Sun (Genesis 1:11-19). Science would like a word.
Genesis also describes a "firmament" (solid dome) separating the sky from the Earth (Genesis 1:6-8). Ancient flat-Earth nonsense.
And let’s not forget the two contradictory creation stories in Genesis 1 and Genesis 2, where the order of creation is completely different-but hey, let’s pretend the Bible is "clear and logical" while accusing the Quran of contradictions that don’t exist.
And about your "Muslim scholars argue over what 'day' means" point-well, welcome to intelligent discussion. The fact that the Quran allows deeper interpretation based on new discoveries is a strength, not a weakness. Meanwhile, your "clear and logical" Bible forced the Church to execute people for questioning it because it couldn’t handle scientific progress.
      Rating of Your Argument:
0/10 - Self-Destruction. You tried to call out the Quran for something the Bible actually does worse. You’re out here accusing others of contradictions while your own book can’t even keep its own creation story straight. Thanks for playing.

Man have you actually read the verses you are talking about in this video ?
You referred to Quran 41:9 to show that according to Quran Earth has existed for 2 days compared to the total 6 days for which this universe has existed.
    1. The verse doesn't say that earth has existed for 2 days it says the process of creation of earth took 2 days. So your inference is completely wrong even if you were reading this verse.
    2. Similarly according to Quran universe was created in 6 days it doesn't say that universe has existed for 6 days.
    3. Most important point if you go to verse 41.10 it clearly says that Allah setup mountains and sustenance on earth in 4 days. So your inference about earth existing for 2 days is absolutely wrong. Coz according to this verse earth has existed for at least 4 days.

Salamu aleikum. I want to adress a contradiction (almost) to your statement, not because i hold with the brother in the video.
Allah has said, that he created the earth in two days, then he put mountains and gave it sustenance in four days. (41:9-10)
but this isn't actually the case. there is a rule by the arabs called al-tadaakhul, this rule suggests that for example
I made the screen in 1 day
then i made the keyboard and the whole computer in two 2 days.
at the time of nabi muhammad, one would not think to add the two numbers. rather, the arab understood it as a report. this means, that the whole computer and its components were made in 2 days.
the same goes for the verses. this means, that the earth was created at all, in six days.

I’ll break down the main claims and refute them logically:
    1. "The Universe is Expanding" (Quran 51:47)
Claim: The Quran predicted the expansion of the universe.
    Refutation:
The phrase "We are certainly expanding it" is a mistranslation. Many classical translations say "We have made it vast" or "We have built it with might"-it doesn't necessarily refer to ongoing expansion.
Even if it did, the concept of an expanding universe wasn’t unknown-Greek philosopher Philolaus (5th century BC) suggested celestial bodies moved in an expanding system.
    2. "The Earth Was Created in Two Days" (Quran 41:9)
Claim: The Quran gives a scientific creation timeline.
    Refutation:
The Quran contradicts itself-in 41:9, Earth is created in 2 days, but 7:54 says the universe was made in 6 days.
If "days" mean "long periods," why do other verses specify one day = 1000 years (32:5) and 50,000 years (70:4)? The inconsistency weakens the argument.
    3. "Iron Was Sent Down" (Quran 57:25)
(Already refuted above-it's poetic, not scientific.)
    4. "A Lying Sinful Forelock" (Quran 96:16)
Claim: The Quran predicted that the prefrontal cortex is responsible for lying and decision-making.
    Refutation:
The verse says forelock (front of the head) as a metaphor for arrogance, not neuroscience.
The prefrontal cortex wasn’t discovered until the 19th century, and the Quran doesn’t explain its function-just uses it as a poetic insult.
    5. "The Quran’s Numerical Miracles"
    Claims:
"The word 'sperm' is exactly at the 23rd position in the verse, like 23 chromosomes."
"The last letter of 'bee' is at the 16th position, like 16 chromosomes in a bee."
"The word 'pig' is 38 letters away from the end of the verse, related to chromosomes."
    Refutation:
Cherry-picking. There are thousands of words in the Quran-if you look hard enough, you can find any pattern you want.
No meaningful connection. Chromosomes weren’t even discovered until the 1800s-if this was divine knowledge, why not just state it outright?
    6. "The Quran Predicts Jesus and Adam" (Quran 3:59)
Claim: This verse proves Jesus was created like Adam, supporting Islamic theology over Christianity.
    Refutation:
The verse says Jesus was created from dust-but Islamic theology denies Jesus was created from dust, unlike Adam.
The Bible explicitly calls Jesus the Son of God (John 3:16), so this verse is just asserting Islamic belief without evidence.
    Final Verdict:
This video is full of mistranslations, cherry-picked coincidences, and poetic language misrepresented as science. A real "scientific miracle" would be clear, specific, and unknown at the time-none of these qualify.
If the Quran truly contained divine knowledge, why doesn’t it directly state germ theory, DNA, or relativity instead of vague metaphors? Because it's not science-it's poetry.

    • @rathernotsay4265
      @rathernotsay4265 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +12

      1. "The Universe is Expanding" (Quran 51:47)
The argument claims that the Quran’s statement about expansion is a mistranslation and that ancient Greeks already had similar ideas. Because, of course, if earlier translations didn’t use the exact English phrase "expanding it," then obviously, the original Arabic must mean something completely different. Let’s just ignore the fact that the word "mūsi‘ūn" (مُوسِعُونَ) comes from "wasi‘a" (وسع), which literally means "to expand"-and in the active participle form, it implies continuous expansion. But sure, let’s pretend that’s just a coincidence.
And Philolaus? The guy who thought the Earth orbited a “central fire” that no one could see? That’s your source for cosmic expansion? His ideas were nowhere close to modern cosmology-he just assumed celestial objects moved in a system. That’s like saying "boats float" is the same as "ocean levels are rising." But hey, gotta give credit to someone other than the Quran, right?
Even classical scholars, long before modern astronomy, understood that Quran 51:47 referred to something greater than just a "vast" heaven. Al-Qurtubi (1214-1273) explicitly stated in his Tafsir al-Jami' li Ahkam al-Qur'an that "mūsi‘ūn" means expansion and widening, emphasizing that Allah’s control over the heavens is not static but continuous. He recognized that the heavens could still be expanding, long before we had telescopes to confirm it.
And if that wasn’t enough, Al-Tabari (838-923), one of the earliest and most authoritative mufassirun (Quranic commentators), clearly wrote in his Tafsir:
"We have raised the heaven by Our power and might, and We are the expanders of it. It will contain all that We have created and all that We will create."
So, not only does the verse explicitly refer to ongoing expansion, but it also describes the heavens as capable of accommodating future creation, which perfectly aligns with the modern understanding of an expanding universe.
Then there’s Muqatil bin Suleiman (d. 767), one of the earliest exegetes, who states that Allah is the one who can expand the heavens as He wills. So, the idea that "expansion" is a modern reinterpretation is completely false-it was recognized centuries before we had the technology to prove it.
Verdict: 2/10. The claim that this is a mistranslation is outright false. Even classical scholars, over a thousand years ago, recognized that the verse speaks of ongoing expansion.
      2.
      - Firstly how is it contradictory that Earth is created in 2 days, but 7:54 says the universe was made in 6 days. You... do realise Earth and the universe are two different things LOL?
      - Secondly, Wait till bro finds out Time is Relative 🤣🤣🤣🤣
      3. "Iron Was Sent Down" (Quran 57:25)
The argument claims that the Quran’s statement about iron being "sent down" is just poetic language rather than an actual scientific fact. Because, of course, when the Quran aligns with modern discoveries, it suddenly becomes "metaphorical" rather than something worth considering.
      The Quran states:
“And We sent down iron, in which is strong material and benefits for people…” (Quran 57:25)
The key phrase here is "anzalnā" (أنزلنا), meaning "sent down." Critics argue that this is just a figurative way of saying "given to humans", ignoring the fact that the same verb is used for things like rain (which literally comes from above). Now, if iron was just another earthly material, you’d expect the Quran to use a different phrasing-except it doesn’t, because iron wasn’t formed on Earth at all.
Modern astrophysics confirms that iron is created in supernova explosions-massive stellar events that occur light-years away from Earth. The iron we have today literally came from space, carried by meteorites that bombarded early Earth. This wasn’t confirmed until the 20th century, yet the Quran explicitly states that iron was "sent down" rather than "made on Earth."
And if this was just poetry, then we should see similar descriptions in other ancient texts, right? Surely the Greeks, Romans, or Hindus must have described iron as being "sent down" from the sky? No? Nothing? So either the Quran coincidentally got it right while every other civilization got it wrong, or maybe-just maybe-it actually has knowledge beyond what was available at the time.
Verdict: 2/10. The excuse that this is "just poetic" collapses when you realize that iron literally was sent down from space, a fact unknown at the time. If this is a coincidence, then the Quran keeps getting "coincidences" right over and over again
      4. "A Lying Sinful Forelock" (Quran 96:16)
if this was just a common way of speaking, why didn’t the Quran say "lying tongue" or "sinful heart", which were more common expressions for deception in ancient cultures? Why specifically the forelock?
Critics claim that the prefrontal cortex wasn’t discovered until the 19th century, so the Quran couldn’t possibly be referring to it. Yet THAT IS exactly the point-how did a 7th-century text randomly single out the exact part of the brain responsible for lying and decision-making when no one at the time knew about it? You are right, it is poetry-scientific poetry, the kind that somehow keeps predicting future discoveries. Because, somehow, this "poetry" just so happens to perfectly align with modern neuroscience, 1,200 years before the prefrontal cortex was even discovered.
Verdict: 0/10. The "it’s just poetry" excuse only works when the statement isn’t scientifically accurate. Unfortunately for the critics, this one is.
      5. "The Quran’s Numerical Miracles"
The argument claims that numerical patterns in the Quran, such as the word "sperm" appearing at the 23rd position (matching human chromosomes), the word "bee" aligning with 16 chromosomes in bees, and similar occurrences with other words, are just cherry-picked coincidences rather than meaningful connections. Because, of course, if something in the Quran aligns with scientific facts, it’s "just a coincidence," and if it doesn’t, then it’s "proof the Quran is wrong."
Let’s be real-if these same numerical patterns were found in the Bible, people would be screaming "divine proof" from the rooftops. But when it happens in the Quran? Suddenly, it’s "random chance."
The real question is: how many "random chances" does it take before it stops being random? Sure, maybe one or two of these findings could be coincidental, but when you keep finding accurate patterns that align with biological and mathematical realities, the probability of it all being accidental drops significantly.
And let’s not pretend ancient Arabs were running around counting word placements and comparing them to chromosomes, which weren’t even discovered until the 1800s. If this were just "hidden meanings people forced onto the text," you’d expect to find similar patterns in other books from the time. But you don’t.
Verdict: 1/10. Ironically, he only "cherry-picking" happening here is people selectively dismissing patterns they don’t like while pretending the Quran just "accidentally" aligns with modern discoveries.
      6. "The Quran Predicts Jesus and Adam" (Quran 3:59)
The argument claims that Quran 3:59, which states that Jesus was created like Adam, is just a forced Islamic assertion that contradicts Christian theology. Because, of course, if the Quran says something that challenges Christian beliefs, then it must be wrong by default.
      The Quran states:
"Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, ‘Be,’ and he was." (Quran 3:59)
The entire Christian argument for Jesus' divinity is that he was born miraculously without a father. The Quran responds with basic logic-if Jesus is divine just because of his unusual birth, then what about Adam, who was created from neither a father nor a mother? By that logic, Adam should be even more divine than Jesus.
This verse doesn’t contradict Islamic theology at all-it actually dismantles the core reasoning behind the Christian claim that Jesus must be divine. And let’s not forget, the Bible itself refers to multiple people as "sons of God"-including David (Psalms 2:7) and Israel (Exodus 4:22). But when Jesus is called that? Suddenly, it’s exclusive.
The verse is not just an Islamic assertion; it’s a direct response to flawed reasoning. If Christians want to claim Jesus is divine because of his miraculous birth, they need to explain why Adam isn’t held to the same standard.
Verdict: 0/10. This isn’t a contradiction-it’s just an argument they don’t want to answer.

@rathernotsay4265 the one about the numbers just being a coincidence is the most hilarious one especially when you factor in the Quranic Matrix(even/odd) and miracles like the ayah that states that over it are 19, then proceeds to say disbelievers will mock while the people of the book will know for certainty it is from Allah. it is literally impossible for all of these to happen at the same time without a super computer or else the even/odd matrix falls apart if you change even one letter.
Also, PLEASE explain how these ayahs could've been known in the 7th century as well.
"فلا أقسم بالخنس الجواري الكنس " - translation: I swear by the hidden one, running around and sweeping. most mufasiroon knew it was talking about a star, but today we know that descriptions fits perfectly none other than a black hole.
or the first ayahs in surah Al-Tariq: "والسماء والطارق وما أدراك ما الطارق النجم الثاقب" which translate to: and by the sky and the one who knocks, and what will make you realize what that is, the piercing/drilling star. if you hear the sound of the pulsar stars you will find it's exactly the sound of someone knocking.

@ 1. "The Universe is Expanding" (Quran 51:47)
      Response:
The argument that Quran 51:47 speaks about cosmic expansion is a mistranslation. The Arabic word "mūsi‘ūn" (مُوسِعُونَ) is derived from "wasi‘a" (وسع), meaning "vast" or "expansive," not "expanding." The correct translation is "We have built the heaven with strength, and indeed, We make it vast."
Early tafsir (commentary) never interpreted this verse as referring to an ongoing expansion. Al-Tabari, Al-Qurtubi, and Ibn Kathir all understood "wasi‘a" as "making vast," not as an ongoing process of expansion.
The discovery of the expanding universe (Hubble's law) was made in the 20th century. No Muslim scholar before this time ever claimed this verse referred to cosmic expansion.
The Greeks (e.g., Philolaus) and even Hindu texts spoke of a cyclic or dynamic universe. The Quran’s statement, even if interpreted as "expansion," is not unique.
Verdict: The claim that this is a scientific miracle is weak. The verse speaks of vastness, not continuous expansion.
      2. "Earth Created in 2 Days vs. Universe in 6 Days (7:54, 41:9-12)"
      Response:
The contradiction is not about Earth and the universe being different, but rather the timeline:
Quran 41:9-12 states Earth was created in 2 days, mountains and sustenance in 4 days, and the heavens in 2 days, totaling 8 days.
Quran 7:54 and multiple other verses state that the heavens and the Earth were created in 6 days.
Even if time is relative, the Quran should not present two conflicting timelines for creation.
Verdict: This is a contradiction, not just a misunderstanding.
      3. "Iron Was Sent Down" (Quran 57:25)
      Response:
The phrase "We sent down iron" (أنزلنا الحديد) does not imply astrophysics. The same verb "anzala" (أنزل) is used elsewhere for camels ("We sent down cattle" in 39:6), but camels did not come from outer space.
The idea that iron came from supernovae was discovered in the 20th century. If the Quran meant this, why did no Muslim scholar for 1,400 years recognize this?
Many ancient civilizations already associated iron with the heavens. The Egyptians, Babylonians, and Greeks all understood that meteors contained iron. The term "heavenly metal" (metallum caelestium) was even used in ancient Rome.
Verdict: This is not a miracle. The idea that iron "came from the sky" was known in ancient times.
      4. "A Lying Sinful Forelock" (Quran 96:16)
      Response:
The verse states: "A lying, sinful forelock." Critics argue that attributing lying to the forelock (forehead) is not scientific.
The prefrontal cortex does control decision-making, but that was not known in the 7th century.
The verse does not describe brain function, but rather uses poetic imagery. In Arabic, "forelock" (nāṣiyah) was associated with pride, control, and disgrace. Ancient Arabs held captives by the forelock as a sign of humiliation.
If this was neuroscience, why didn't Muslim scholars recognize it for 1,400 years?
Verdict: This is poetic language, not science.
      5. "The Quran’s Numerical Miracles"
      Response:
Numerical patterns can be found in any text if you look hard enough. The Bible, Shakespeare, and even random books contain similar patterns.
Example: The word "computer" appears 666 times in some texts. Does that prove prophecy?
If the Quran contained intentional numerical patterns, why did no scholar in 1,400 years mention them?
These patterns only work in certain scripts (modern Arabic) and are not present in classical Arabic.
Verdict: This is cherry-picking. Numbers in any large text will produce coincidences.
      6. "The Quran Predicts Jesus and Adam" (Quran 3:59)
      Response:
The argument here misunderstands Christian theology:
Christians do not believe Jesus is divine only because of his virgin birth. His divinity is based on his claims, miracles, fulfillment of prophecy, and resurrection.
If Adam and Jesus are truly alike, then why is Adam not called the Messiah or given the same significance?
The verse is a false analogy. Adam was created from dust, while Jesus was born from a woman. Their creations are different.
Verdict: This is not a contradiction, but it also does not refute Christian theology.
      Final Response:
Your argument assumes that the Quran is true and that all evidence must conform to it. However:
You demand a metric that does not change to determine truth. But how do you verify the Quran itself is true?
Science changes because it corrects errors and improves. The Quran, on the other hand, contains scientific mistakes (flat earth implications, embryology errors, mistaken cosmology).
If you believe truth must be unchanging, then why do Islamic scholars reinterpret the Quran to match modern science? That alone proves that the Quran is not a fixed scientific reference, but a flexible text retrofitted to match discoveries after they are made.

@ 1. "The Quranic Numerical Miracles and the Number 19"
      Response:
Numerical patterns can be found in any sufficiently large text-this is called apophenia, the tendency to perceive patterns in random data.
The “Even/Odd Matrix” is artificial. It relies on specific spellings and ignores variant readings of the Quran.
The number 19 argument was first introduced by Rashad Khalifa in the 1970s, not by classical scholars. If this was truly divine, why didn’t early Muslims notice it for over 1,300 years?
Similar "miracles" exist in the Bible, Shakespeare, and even Harry Potter. That does not make them divine.
Verdict: Finding number patterns in a large text is not a miracle-it’s statistics.
      2. "The Hidden One, Running and Sweeping" (Quran 81:15-16) and Black Holes
      Response:
The verse states: "I swear by the retreating stars, those that move and disappear." The claim is that this refers to black holes. However:
Black holes were unknown in the 7th century. But this verse was never interpreted as black holes by classical scholars.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Al-Tabari, and Al-Qurtubi explain "الخنس" (al-khunnas) as stars that disappear at dawn, like planets (Mercury, Venus, etc.).
The word "sweeping" (الكنس - al-kunnas) refers to the way planets orbit and appear to "disappear" from view.
If this was about black holes, why didn’t Muslim scholars for 1,400 years recognize it? Why did it take NASA’s discoveries before this "miracle" was noticed?
Verdict: This verse refers to visible celestial bodies, not black holes. The interpretation of black holes is a modern reinterpretation, not a prophecy.
      3. "The Piercing Star" (Quran 86:1-3) and Pulsars
      Response:
The Quran states: "By the sky and the Tārīq (the knocker)! And what will make you know what the knocker is? It is the piercing star."
The word "Tārīq" (الطارق) means "one who comes at night" or "knocker." Classical scholars understood this as a bright star appearing at night, not a pulsar.
Pulsars emit electromagnetic waves, not knocking sounds. The "knocking" effect heard in modern data is due to radio wave conversion by scientists. The Quran does not mention sound.
The "piercing star" (النجم الثاقب) likely refers to bright stars visible at night, not pulsars.
Verdict: This is poetic language about bright stars, not a prediction of pulsars. Pulsars were only associated with this verse after their discovery.
      Final Response:
Your argument assumes the Quran contains scientific miracles, but these so-called miracles only appear after scientists make a discovery. If these verses were truly about black holes or pulsars, then:
Why did no Muslim scholar in 1,400 years recognize them as such?
Why do these interpretations only appear after modern discoveries?
Why are the descriptions vague, allowing multiple meanings?
This pattern shows reinterpretation, not prophecy. The Quran uses poetic imagery, not precise scientific descriptions.

@ Response to the "Earth in 2 Days vs. Universe in 6 Days" Contradiction
Your argument misunderstands the contradiction. The issue is not simply that Earth and the universe are "two different things," but that different Quranic verses present conflicting creation timelines when compared side by side.
      The Contradiction in Creation Timelines
Quran 7:54 - States that Allah created the heavens and the Earth in six days.
Quran 41:9-12 - Breaks it down further:
Earth was created in 2 days (41:9).
The mountains, sustenance, and provisions were placed on Earth in 4 more days (41:10).
Then the heavens were completed and ordered into seven heavens in 2 more days (41:11-12).
      Total = 2 + 4 + 2 = 8 days, not 6.
Muslim Apologetic Response & Its Flaws
Some claim that the 4 days in 41:10 include the 2 days in 41:9, but the Arabic wording does not support this. The verse presents them as separate durations.
Even if that were true, it still contradicts 7:54, which implies the Earth and heavens were created together in 6 days, while 41:9-12 suggests Earth was completed first before the heavens were ordered.
      Conclusion
This is not just about Earth vs. the universe. The contradiction is in the number of days and the order of creation. The Quran gives two different timelines, one saying everything was made in 6 days, the other adding up to 8.
Verdict: This is a real contradiction, not just a misunderstanding.

    1. Quran’s Contradiction Still Stands
    Quran 41:9-12: Clearly divides creation into 2 + 4 + 2 = 8 days.
    Quran 7:54: Says six days.
You can’t just ignore the math and say "Well, 2/6 = 33%, and 4.5 billion is 33% of 13.7 billion years!" That’s a forced parallel, not an actual explanation.
    2. False Equivalence Between Scientific Data and Quranic “Days”
The Earth’s formation (4.543B years) being roughly 1/3 of the universe’s age (13.7B years) is just a coincidence.
That has nothing to do with the Quran's use of "days," which itself is inconsistently defined (24 hours? 1,000 years? 50,000 years?).
If Allah intended "days" to mean billions of years, why not just say it clearly? Why leave it vague until modern science caught up?
    3. The Bigger Issue: Quran Keeps Needing Reinterpretation
If the Quran was truly clear and scientific, you wouldn’t need mental gymnastics like this to make it fit science.
The Bible’s creation account has a logical flow, whereas the Quran’s version requires constant reinterpretation as scientific discoveries advance.

Gage, a railroad worker, survived an accident where an iron rod penetrated his skull, damaging his prefrontal cortex. His personality changed drastically, leading scientists to connect the prefrontal cortex with reasoning, morality, and impulse control.
Further scientific understanding developed in the **late 19th and early 20th centuries**, with studies on brain injuries, lobotomies, and later, neuroimaging techniques like **fMRI in the 1990s**, which confirmed the forebrain's role in moral decision-making and self-control. before Phineas Gage's accident in **1848**, there was no clear scientific understanding that the **forebrain (prefrontal cortex)** controlled **thoughts, decision-making, morality, or sinful behavior**.
Ancient civilizations, including the Greeks and Egyptians, had various ideas about the brain, but they did not specifically link the **forelock area** (prefrontal cortex) to lying and moral choices. It was only in the **19th and 20th centuries** that neuroscience confirmed this.
This makes the Quran’s reference in **Surah Al-'Alaq (96:15-16)**-calling the **forelock (naseyah) "lying" and "sinful"**-remarkably accurate and far ahead of its time. SEE THE WORLD WITH UNBIASED VIEWS

      @rathernotsay4265 i'll try elaborating
my 1st point is that the lying forelock verses aren't convincing because the words rhyme, kazibatin khati'atin (lying, wrongful) both end with atin, if the verse was lying sinful head for example, it would be ra'sin kazibatin khati'atin which doesn't sound as good
my 2nd point is that even though many Muslims believe the stories revolving around Jesus were revealed to Muhammad by God that is simply not true, many stories about Jesus mentioned in the Quran that are not mentioned in the testimonies of Matthew Mark Luke and John can be traced back to Gnosticism and heretical texts in general, i'll provide a few examples
      1. The Infancy Gospel of Thomas is likely the oldest Gnostic Gospel though it is dated to the 2nd century, it has stories such as Jesus speaking as an infant, creating birds from clay and commanding a tree to give Mary food, pretty much all other Gnostic gospels draw from the stories in this gospel and evolve from it
      2. The Second Treatise of The Great Seth, dated to the 2nd or 3rd centuries, along other works such as The Apocalypse of Peter have stories suggesting that Jesus was never crucified, an idea later adopted by Islam
compared to the Gospels we have now that are all dated within the lives of the Apostles with Church fathers who knew the apostles quoting from them, those Gospels are unreliable, and the fact that Islam took stories from traditions that ultimately evolved from those Gospels we now know are false, makes Islam itself unreliable.
