I'm a perpetual beginner and chosen this to be my first song to master. Great tutorial great track, you made it so easy to follow, I'm gonna have a little fun with this cheers 😁👍👍👍👍👍
Please do another video on all of the solos! The lead guitar is also doing something during the second verse along with the rhythm guitar playing the 12 -bar blues riff. I would be interested in what is going on there too! Thanks for the great content!
Awesome tutorial. Im not sure why I've never come across your videos before but I would highly recommend them to anyone. Great camera work and explanations. Very helpful. Thanks verymuch.. .
I saw the Georgia Satellites years ago in Kalamazoo Michigan. Their bass player was so drunk and surely high he fell right off the stage onto his head and neck. The rest of the band kept playing like nothing had happened. They where pissed as all get out at him they where the opening band and trying to make it in the music world. After their song the lead singer said"leave him if where lucky the son of a bitch is dead". He just laid there for another 25 minutes until an ambulance took him away. He was still passed out. The following band was mad as hell about what had happened because of the ambulance incident they where really late getting started and out of that crap hole ice arena that people did concerts in back in the day.
Oh, just what I'm looking for startong at 5:23, these are the majic licts that makes it, I know they're standard Chuck Berry riffs but I've never really learned them, great job blogue
For the rhythm its all down you can tell because those accents are done first and they are the lowest.... common sense says down. For blues most rhythms are downs onlys because it sounds the bass notes first. There are exceptions.
Good job with the lesson. I have no trouble playing the notes, my problem is that I can't remember a sequence that long, I always forget where I am at, it is like a hit a limit where my brain can only hold so many notes before I have to swap them out for a new set of notes.
Ive heard so many people that think they want to play say this. Well if its true, you are screwed give up now. If you actually wanted to play you would, i could tell you how to play this where you hold one note and alternate to another, then move your fingers up a string do it again and then down the strings... etc, to play the basic rhythm. But geez membering 6 notes might be a bit much....
Eh, well as he is a teacher, talking sometimes does help, especially for those of us beginning 'again' at the age of 62 after 45 years of giving up because I couldn't find anyone to teach me like this (I am not a natural.) You are obviously not a beginner Martin.
I love the way you slow it down like that… It’s really easy to follow
Can’t wait to get home and try!
Great lesson! Yes, please do the complete solo!
Love the Georgia Satellites! Thankyou

Keep at it, I've been a perpetual beginner for forty plus years now and still get a thrill from learning songs 👍

So simple, yet so cool.

Great lesson Andy and fantastic tone!
+Keef thanks buddy. It's seymore duncan pickup that does it!
@Andy Guitar I know this was 5 years ago, but what are some good amp settings for that tone?
Great lesson very informative

Andy Guitar is there a video yet?
I would love you to do a tutorial on Let It Rock (Bye Bye Johnny). Not sure how they get that sound in the beginning. thanks
Um your singing needs more twang for the jing-a-ling-a-ling....Guitar riff, sweet.
We’re here for the guitar anyway.
There's always that one dork down front.
Can you give me the link to the solo?
thanks so much this was very helpful! would you do keep pace you wimps by ask my bull lesson or cover please
So is the rhythm guitar playing 12 bar blues all the way through or does it change At solos?
All the way 👌
@@andycrowley thank you. Great lesson
Thank you
Please do the whole solo
How will u know if the strum is up or down in tabs
+Cjm28 pro from the videos, and eventually, from instinct. The best TABs do show if it's downs or ups but, if the piece is as your level, it's obvious
Cjm28xZ it’s called feel
For the rhythm its all down you can tell because those accents are done first and they are the lowest.... common sense says down. For blues most rhythms are downs onlys because it sounds the bass notes first. There are exceptions.
Nice job Brother! What are you using for an amp? It sounds very much like a Marshall.
God Bless you Andy!
Rob Ransom
What about you amplificator to have the same effect
What pedal ar you using ?
+GamingWithMax Max None. The tone you're liking is from the seymore duncan 59 pickup at the bridge! Sounds amazing through pretty much any amp
Andy Guitar Thanks
How does one get the tab you mentioned?
