It's ok to make STUFF up. As I use to say to my daddy when i was just a boy, "If you can't dazzle em with brilliance baffle em with bullshit. Seriously I love this song, and since I recovered from my stroke (February 10th 2014) I've picked this song to learn to play. Wish me luck,,, or say a prayer.

Yup. Here's the problem. If u know the Blues scale just noodle over the solo. That's why this song is Butchered by 99.9% of bands that cover it. And that's a lot. Mr. Rick Richards is a great rock n roll guitarist. This song was a blessing and a curse to the Georgia Satellites. It's probably one of the most covered songs by bar bands. Yet far from there best work. like alot of other acts. The beauty of what Mr. Richards done on this track is the notes that he picked to use in that scale. Yet every guitar player chooses to just "Noodle" through the whole damn song. Man I'm sure your a great guitarist. Better than me. No bad feelings to you. Just illustrating a point.

Do a lesson on the best way to hold the pick, the way you hold yours.
Great lesson!...but I have a suggestion,at the end of your lesson loop the rhythm and play a little lead over it.That would give people more inspiration to learn the songs.BTW I have purchased one of your E-books,great stuff; (\O

Look man..like I said before, I think the videos are great. Lessons and reviews. They are all good.
Of course you need to get paid and support your family. It just seemed like when i watched this video in particular, there was a plug for another video or site after ever sentence, that's all. Its never bugged me till I watched this one
Obviously I'm not totally against the adds as I have bought 2 of your books, and never would have known about them without you telling about them in the videos
I like your videos, and I'm just a stupid bass player. I don't have to learn all them scales, but I play guitar parts on the bass and sing at the same time. Your funny. I need to be more funny. I played bass for 20 years in bands, but I stopped playing in 1999. I just started playing again. Easy songs like this I can do. I'll do this song after a couple more Elvis songs and a Babys song. Then I'm going to tackle a couple Pat Travers songs when I'm gettin' betta. Thanks.
