My uncle joined in Muktibahini in 1971. He was the eldest one among my grandad’s sons. He was university student at that time and joined to liberate the country from West Pakistan. Although he died and we never found his dead body but we are proud of him. Because of him, now I am free citizen of Bangladesh 🙂

Pakistan only mistake was our desasterous defence policy that we will not keep big army in east Pakistan, instead "defence of east Pakistan will be done by starting a war from west Pakistan".
Which was not possible.
Pakistan kept only 36 thousand soldeirs there to defend east Pakistan. 4 laakh (4 hundred thousands) army was actualy requird to defend it against india.

Aminul Haque this series was so un biased.The narrator talked most of the time about West Pakistani side and throughout the blame was on Pakistani Army,Bhutto and Yahya but you still feel that the most of the information is not correct.

Also modifying the death counts here and there. Also the narrator clearly denied the genocide the had committed at the start of the war. And adding non bengals in the death counts in such a way as if it was a big portion... Only about 5% of the 3 lakh killed were non bengalies... Almost all of the Pakistanis had left the country. The Rajakars were the main culprits of all the rape and loot and here they're showing them as some sort of heros lol :v

I am from Bangladesh, and watched all the episodes. I found only Vutto and Yeyahiya's recklessness divided the whole Pakistan , they should have obeyed Shikh Mujib, who waited till March 1971, Mujib want his leagal power not division, but Vutto's wrong headed group cheated and finally defeated. India was cool all the time and they attack at the proper time. Actually whole Pakistani leaders without knowing the situation initiated wrong decission one after another. In brief If both Pakistans were together with fairness, it would be good for whole Pakistan. But the creation was Bangladesh right too cause then Pakistan had wrong headed leaders. Anyway we already passed 49 years of Independence. এখন আমরা বাঙালি। বাংলাদেশ।
