Looked more like a Tarwhine than a Bream. Same difference regarding lengths, bag limits etc. Tarwhine tend to be cleaner fillets because they mostly live in the surf, rather than creeks / rivers - mostly. Great vid and good catch - ah takes me back ...
For someone who has only fished in fresh water lakes in Canada, the whole idea of catching fish by rod in shallow ocean water on a beach with wave action is amazing to me. The beaches there looks so clean. Driving on them just seems so wrong to me ... haha ... thanks for posting ! !
Hey mate, sick video! Heading up there this weekend with buncha mates. Not all of us has 4wd. Is there parking to leave a few cars just before the barge or you reckon? Just have a Ranger 4x2 to leave behind.
Good Stuff! Yea that is a Tarwhine. That is a really nice Whiting. Cheers.
Great video m8, fishing on a surf beach is on my bucket list, hopefully in 2 weeks we're going to this very spot, looking forward to it, cheers

You can take any vehicle over on the barge to noosa north shore and there is plenty of parking before you hit the beach
