My visit was the Saturday with me getting a cab ride in GP39 (Bronllwyd) on her first freight turn after Diana was taken off for the crew lunch break, such a wonderful line to ride in the cab but was a very hot day.
Love Statfold Barn and Amerton. Sadly Lately I've not been able to visit as often as I would have liked. On this occasion I had planned to be at Amerton both days but only managed on Saturday. All going well I hope to visit both next year. Hope you enjoyed your cab ride on GP39.

Great to see this lovely little railway again, couldn't have been much fun for the drivers on the footplate in that heat.
Amerton certainly is a Gem. So welcoming and relaxing. It was so good to get back there after missing a few of the Steam Galas.
