I don’t always agree with your opinions but I’m glad to see you’re using your platform to bring this issue to the forefront. We really do need to all be united in voicing our discontent of how Bandai is handling the game if there is a chance for change. I’d really rather this game not die but there’s only so much a community can take.

This why players at my LGS gave up on Digimon and I’m the only one trying to keep it alive.

It shouldn't take hundreds of comments though, at least not for something that makes Bandai more money and keeps the player base happy. If players were demanding lower prices or free stuff, that would be different, but they're just asking for the opportunity to spend more on tournaments and cards to prepare for them.

Literally this. It’s a shame we’d just like ways to spend more money, lol.

This is crazy, but hear me out…. Why don’t the players host their own regionals with cash prizing? Bandai as a company doesn’t care about supporting the player base.

Regionals won’t work because that’s a Bandai Organized Play thing, but someone starting an independent tournament circuit on a larger scale is an interesting idea. The question is who will shell out and support such a thing.

I def want to take my playing to the next level, and I feel ready. But by the way Bandai has handled this game and it’s competitive scene it’s slowly killed my will to want to be competitive in this game outside of locals. And to add to that my local LGSs here in south Texas don’t help either because they barely get any product, for us to even be competitive. For gods sake we are still receiving old prizing over here. BT16 was practically non existent to us. I absolutely don’t feel content with the way things are rn. But I also don’t complain because like you Mario I agree Bandai doesn’t give a shit. I also agree with your comment about the player base not being big enough, I feel this is something I knew since coming into the game in BT9. Will I ever be able to play in a regional, idk? But I would love a chance to be able to but by the looks of it, it ain’t gonna happen.

I feel like mario right one piece player base and fan base is bigger Bandai won't care if digimon drops in America. If you're a real digimon fan, you would know the franchise has disappeared a good couple times and came back later. This is not digimon 1st traing card. There a possibility we could lose the card game. I don't know how high or low the chances are, but at the same time bandai other card games are sky 🚀 we just have to wait and see how things roll.

I feel like boycotting the game would kill the game, unfortunately.
This is an excellent point though. Limited Card set is great but the limited tournaments isn't. One step forward, but they kind of stay in place with everything else.
This is kind of par for the course with how Bandai treats Digimon as a franchise. TBH, the card game gets it good compared to the rest of the franchise. The mobile games only come out in China. Ghost Game, Applimon, and Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Cancellation haven't come out in English. Though Ghost Game is rumored for a dub, any blu-ray release isn't really. Not to mention just the lack of news on a new video game. And even then, for a long period, the few games that came out didn't come out in English or a lot of other languages, and this was only really fixed in the last 10 years. A lot of the v-pets don't come out in English or are P-Bandai exclusive. We don't get a lot of the merch in the west if there even is good merch to be had. Like Partners is a decent start but more, please?
Digimon has a passionate but small fanbase. It's no different for the card game or its competitive scene. And while things have been better in some places, some things don't change.

Everyone please go copy and paste at the very least and post a comment and let Bandai know we want to play the game. This out of hand.
