In 1981we went up there to Float in the Great Salt Lake with our friends from Idaho, then the floods of 1982/83 ruined the beaches and we never went back to FLOAT in the lake!
( Not Jim but his wife) My father drove the train that moved the people from the parking lot to the pavilion. He and mom loved to attend the dances there. In the 60's mom and dad took us there to float in the salt water. At that time we were told that it was 5 times saltier than the ocean. I have heard that it is worse since the lake has been drying up.
you should check out the Roman Forum or the Colosseum, hell even the pyramids, if ancient civilizations 2000-5000 years ago could build grand structures like that, we could easily build a structure like that 130 years ago, you are hilarious

News flash, we are now discovering that all these old buildings in our country were actually founded. The previous generation of the American did not construct these buildings. They are, in fact, relics from a civilization that was here before the pilgrims stepped into this country. Just because you were taught the opposite in public school or church (salt lake city temple) doesn't mean you were being taught the truth. Those who are interested in knowing truth and have seen the evidence quickly understands that we in fact inherited a grand old civilization. It was a vast empire, but was destroyed by mudflooded, earthquakes, and I assume, the hand of God because most of the old world buildings were melted. That's right, the vast stone buildings were melted. But there is still alot of evidence of its foundations and even some that wasn't completely destroyed or disfigured. Remember folks, this country was built upon secret societies and they are still very much alive and well. They know this and many more things that have caused our current situation. They creat chaos with one hand to then reform and rebuild into what they want with they other. It's called controlled opposition and we have been controlled and manipulated like cattle for hundreds of years. You don't matter in there equation. You are only but chattel to these sick and twisted secret societies. You won't learn this from a school or their secular text books that we have all becom indoctrinated with from birth. Question people, guestion everything and stop being bought for cheap trinkets from China and stories from Hollywood. Open your eyes people and take the veil from off your eyes. They treat us like cattle because we act like cattle. Stop acting like cattle and think for yourselves for once in your life. Jesus saves and he will help you to remove the veil from off your eyes. Trust in him and him alone. He is the truth and our only hope. The powers of darkness are real and are active in our society just as they were in the past so to are they active now and even more so. Wake up out of your indoctrination and remove the invisible chains that have and are enslaving us. This world isn't right and we all know something isn't right but if you continue to ignore it then you and everyone you love will end up in their slaughter houses. The devil lies in the details. You have to think for yourself if you ever want to see the truth.

The new one sucks compared to the old ones.

I don't think they had a ton of money to build it because it probably wasn't projected to generate a lot of revenue.
