- Liberty Park, the single largest open park in Salt Lake City, has a long history. From it's early days helping citizens through famine, acquisition by the city for park space, national tragedy, threats of corporate takeover, and natural disasters, it stands today for the enjoyment of all residents.

This is a great video, I have been there many times.😊
I ❤ Salt Lake City.
Home sweet home ❤️❤️
Interesting that in 1889 attempts were made to privatize the park - somewhat similar to what Snowbird and Utah state gov't. have in mind for our Little Cottonwood Canyon.
Anyone know exactly where the playground fight scene from Revenge of the Ninja (1983) was filmed?
Very interesting
My grandmother told me it was a zoo back in the early days.
Now that animals have blue hair and skinny jeans. Lol
a small one, mostly birds.
1899
Chevron Sucks
Lame fact! When the windstorm in ‘20 took out the trees at liberty park, skateboarders from across the country came to ride the damaged sidewalks…
Now it's a space where the homeless live .
