Malaysia is not underrated. The ranking for 2020 showed we are number two after thailand (in SEA), in whole of asia we are 4th after china, thailand, japan. In terms of tourists arrivals. If people think vietnam, bali (indonesia) or philippines exceed us, they are wrong. This is based on facts.
But that's the impression that KL and Malaysia overall get from most first time tourist..they all know about Thailand and even Singapore but when it's comes to Malaysia..they have no idea probably some know about the twin tower but that just it
@@mofb8331 probably the length of time is longer in thailand, bali or philippines compared to us. But our visa is cool. 3 months for some foreign countries (free)
Yes this is true, but have you seen where the bulk of the tourist come from? It was singapore and china making up the most of our arrival. So westerner like european or US did know little about Malaysia.
Yes KL (and Malaysia )is indeed underrated and underestimated. This beautiful city deserves more promoting and highlighting. If it receives x million of visitors now, it should be 3 times more.
Welcome to Malaysia. Public transport buses, MRT, LRT, monorail will be free for a month so take advantage of that. There are also free bus services around the city which you can get on and off.
Don't be naive, there is nothing free from Gov't, it's all taxpayers money! It's stupid to provide 1month free transportation for a developing country with so many people struggling in this country! The costly MRT and LRT is not suitable for a city where so many people living in landed property where people stay so scarcely and so far out from city centre.
