My baby is 8 weeks and is always so sleepy I try to wait into she’s more awake to do tummy time and I see other babies at her age holding their head up so good 😭I know it’s not good to compare my baby to others but I’m going to try these tips thank you 🙏🏾

Thank you so much, by far the best video on tummy time I've seen :) I noticed you have hard floors too, I've been apprehensive about putting mine down because I thought blankets won't be bouncy enough like carpet for her little knees, but did you find it was ok for yours? And did a blanket have enough grip to learn to crawl too? :) Xxx
Thank you for your kind comment. Firmer surface are more stable and provide more support than soft and squishy surfaces. I always put a blanket down. x
My daughter is a few days old, I do tummy time with her but she just tends to sleep on me. Is this ok for tummy time? Also is anyone able to help for tips to get her to sleep at night? She really doesn't settle in her cot for longer than 10 mins but as soon as you pick her up she settles and will sleep in arms or on chest for hours on end. I know she's only a few days old so patience and consistency is needed but any tips would be helpful. We also use white noise to try help her. I spoke to friends and they said they're baby tended to sleep for a few hours at night in the cot but we can't get that at the moment. We are breastfeeding our girl and could it be cause of this she seems more clingy? Thanks

I have a 1 month old and I’ve really only done it on my chest/shoulder because he tends to get bobble headedish and I’m afraid of him hitting his head too hard on the floor
@@LoveHappyAli I also do breast feed but she is not gaining weight. ..dr says she has to be 6kg at 3m but she is now 4.5 I'm giving her formula milk two times daily once in the morning and other at late night
Hey! I suggest not substituting formula because it messes up your milk supply, do lots of skin on skin and let her nurse whenever she wants. Drink plenty of water and continue taking prenatal vitamins. Good luck!

As a mum of 3 my advice is to pick the best time for Your baby and don't compare you babies to each other, or to other babies. They are all different.

Hi Tamara, tummy time is them on their tummy strengthening their neck, back and arm muscles. We did it in a variety of positions. 😃 xx

If you are concerned definitely speak with a health professional! I breastfed my kids on demand.
