- In Elden Ring, by doing different questlines, there are 6 different endings you can have, but now we have found the 7th hidden ending: The Age Absolute! This was activated restored using datamining because the questline behind it was removed from the game, and only remnants were left in the files for us to see! Tell me what you think the implications of this ending!

As I planned to reveal this 24-hours after the release of the video, it is time to reveal the truth!
The "Age Absolute" ending is indeed an April's Fools video, but there are some key details I have to address:
► The voice line saying "Age Absolute" DOES exist in the final game and not the Network Test like some people claimed. By looking at the files, its ID is a actually an alternate line for the "Age of Order" line's ending.
► Other than that line, the rest of the video was all custom created by me (The "merged" five fingers, the cutscene, etc...) and there is no official proof in the game that there existed a "Five Fingers", but it is a theory that many people talked about, and decided to recreate it in my own unique and creative way!

You know, the idea of the two and three fingers merging does sound plasible. Two represents Order and Three Chaos. Meaning the new Golden Order would have encompassed all aspects.

i think they used to be one but split into 2, so the chaos ending aims to join the two back into one by burning the world
I feel like the turtle pope at the Church of Vows was hinting at this ending. He always mentioned that heresy is objective and all things can be useful/combined. Chaos and Order makes Absolute.
Hes actually referencing how sorceries and incantations are one of the same imo. Both seem to come from the same place.

@@johngone1nonly I agree with that perspective. I feel like he's being a bit vague with the details on what he exactly means though. Radagon (being married to both Rennala and Marika/himself) believed that both sorcery and faith should be combined. That's why the incantations of the Golden Order have unusual Intelligence requirements to use, instead of strictly Faith.

It's uncanny how natural the two fingers and the the three fingers look combined. Almost as if they're intended to be connected somehow. I hope the dlc explores this further.

Tarnished Archeologist and another TH-camr did a video of the two and three fingers, the conclusion is that they don’t fit together and are different ideologies that don’t mix. Notice how the two fingers are more reminiscent of the middle and index fingers for their height and their flexibility, not a pinky and a ring finger. The three fingers are also noticeable smaller in model and in the cutscene compare to all the two fingers that are in game. It is a possibility that they could be connected, but when you did deeper you’ll understand why they don’t fit.

@@crunkdaconqueror778 He willfully ignored the fact that two fingers quite literally are shown to differ in size in game. Also, they do form a recongizable hand, not neccesarily a human one. Remember, that there are other species with hands in Elden Ring.

I hope we get a DLC with a story. This is a great game, with a shit story written in text files. When I get to any ending, it kinda feels like I logged 120 hours at work and they paid me in farts. Every time you become Elden Lord, who cares? I want to be Elder God who fucks your sister cus your mom is old and gross. You're always working under another outer god no matter what. It's like, you guys are gods and outer gods. And you ALL fucked me and every Tarnished over. Kill your own shit unless you're gonna up the pay.
Screw a dlc, most if not all the content is there! we can just restore it while we get new content being worked on!

It looks as though the two and three fingers are grafted together. Perhaps this implies a shared duality between the Frenzied Flame and the Golden Order? Maybe they're simply two extremes of one divided being?
They are complete opposites. Like two sides of the same coin.
Hyetta actually discoveres the truth that they indeed are
Actully, the way the followers of the Frenzied Flame talked about the Three Fingers, I think the Frenzied Flame is part of the Greater Will too. By reducing a world back to Primordial chaos, the Greater Will can restart and reshape it to it's will. The reason why their is a conflict is that for some reason the Order and Chaos side split up, probably before the Erdtree showed up, causing the current system to be mostly influenced by the Order part, while the Chaos part was locked up and now want to "fix" the situation by reseting.
So in this ending we probably absorb both the Three fingers and the Two at the Round Table (somehow) and then restore the full connection to the Greater Will.
Kinda like the opposite of the Age of Order, where the player creates a perfect Golden Order without divine mixed in.

Also, I really wish the ending wasn't cut, the game is full of opposites, Melina and Ranni, one searching for her purpose, involuntarily bodiless, and the other with a set goal in mind, voluntarily removing the shackles of flesh. One born of Marika and one born of Radagon, chaos, and order with the two fingers and the three fingers.
(Side note, I do not believe that Renalla had anything to do with Ranni, she may have been raised by both Renalla and Radagon, but she was born only of Radagon, she calls her mother and learned from her, but she isn't her "biological" mother, in that sense).
For an April fools joke this is done surprisingly well.

DLC content all over the shop. But honestly i think they want it to be vague maybe? Like Velka in DS trilogy. I have read that many people didn't like the Elden Beast design/gameplay, so they might want to leave it to open interpretation. At least this is what i think.

It's like yin and yang, a balance of harmony, it seems like both the two fingers and the three fingers did seem to be one at a point in time but something divided them, probably a war between the outer gods, or even when the rulers of the lands between changed(won't spoil it for others), in theory, the hand should be able to restore balance to the broken world, and if there is a dlc for that ending hopefully it will tell us what really happened before the gods
Love everyone's insights on the 2 & 3 fingers you encounter in the game. In the end, the game brings in a compelling question: Is Order the way or is Chaos the way? The answer is both. Obviously, order is a good thing, but too much of brings tyranny. Godrick is a great example of Order being taken out of control. He oppressed all of Limgrave and forced everyone to graft themselves onto him. It's quite evident in Stormveil castle with the mounds of rotting corpses how he killed anyone who didn't follow his orders. On the opposite end, Renalla's academy was in complete disarray. There was no professor or leader found in the entire academy. No classes, no gatherings, no structure. Just scholars relishing in their own self-worth at how prestigious they are at being able to walk the grounds of Raya Lucaria despite it's obvious state of chaos. I'd like to think the true ending would be to demonstrate a new age that incorporated the strengths of both Order & Chaos. Punish, but not indiscriminately like Godrick. Allow freedom, but not generously like Renalla.
ALSO, 2 fingers is an even number which is very neat, orderly, & symmetrical. 3 fingers is an odd number which is inherently disgusting. Imagine a person with 2 arms vs 3 arms.
I love this, gold masks quest is something similar, he makes the mending rune of perfect order which was supposed to fix everything wrong with the Golden order

You know that's one of the first things I thought about when I noticed there was the two fingers then the three...a whole hand split apart. It's clearly a reference to the God Hand in berserk but the idea that a god sent down their literal hand to guide everyone is insane. Not only that but each finger had their own ideas, the two thought they could salvage the world after all that happened and the three sought to burn it down to make it anew.
Speculation: It could be that when the Greater Will arrived in the Lands Between, it was somehow separated from itself (as in the frenzied flame)
Marika separated the Rune of Death from the Elden Ring, and gave it to Maliketh, so that no one in the grace of the Erdtree could die. They would just return to the Erdtree and be reborn eventually.
This act of separation could have been the moment the Greater Will (in need of a physical vessel to do its bidding) split into 2 personalities, the Greater Will we know and the Frenzied Flame. This also could have split Marika into Marika and Radagon,
as Marika is the personality who splintered the Order, and Radagon is attempting to bring it back together.
Marika akin to the 2 fingers (fingers who desperately want to mend and maintain the fractured order that’s currently in place, but cannot fully control),
Radagon akin to the 3 fingers (fingers who want to burn everything down to return to a single oneness and retry order from the top)
Notice how Radagon married Renalla by bathing himself in Celestial Dew to atone for his violence, effectively ending a feud and merging/mending the families into 1
And how Marika used her 1st husband Godfrey to wage war on the giants, and then after they were dead and he served his purpose, she banished him from the Lands Between

And to get into the Erdtree anyway, you have to burn it. Which according to the 2 fingers, is a cardinal sin. Yet you have to burn it anyways which you can do alone with the 3 fingers, and who is inside to greet you? Radagon.

My first thought about a hand being split apart is Jim Henson's the Dark Crystal. The Skesies and Mystics split apart from one source. One of chaos and greed, the other balance and humbled nature.
The three thingers only want to burn it down. There is no implacation that a new world is then created.
The 2 and 3 fingers merging is a great concept because they both represent order and chaos respectively so it could either be an age of absolute control or absolute freedom with the same laws as before, and if the 3 is involved maybe the greatrune of death is re-implemented but with the old order rules still there.

When I found the 3 fingers for the first time everything clicked oh look a whole hand. This must be an ending option to merge yin and yang. Then nothing.
As it is I might still pick the Ranni ending. I. Not sure how much I trust the outer gods. This ending seems to be give them direct controll almost eliminate free will.
Rannis is take the power and stay the hell out.of mortal affairs let them decide what is. Free will and uncertainty instead of ordained will of gods.

@@timswingler4219 You have free will even if A outer god in power though, just because someone rules, and someone always will be ruling, doesn't mean you have no free will. Free will doesn't mean absolute autonomy. I think the Perfect Order is a pretty neet ending as well, because of this.

I choose to interpret this ending as the body of Marika being used to give The Greater Will/One Great a physical avatar, through which to be a true god.
I think it's something that the Dog Pope said, "no one is beyond forgiveness" so I guess this ending is more so making everything whole, not in the destroy everything whole, more so along the lines of, Giving undead, omens, and other things that fall outside the golden order rights within an order inspired by gold mask where the stars shine for a 1000 year journey

I think it makes sense it was cut since the different fingers are essentially just messengers of Outer Gods. To have the Two and Three Fingers join is to imply the Order and Chaos Outer Gods have merged, which seems...unlikely. I doubt peace between any of the Outer Gods is a possibility.

Just to add from below, people seem confused about Hyetta saying, "the Greater Will made a mistake." If you listen to Hyetta she does not seem to imply that the Frenzied Flame came from the Greater Will. Instead, Hyetta essentially seems to be saying that ALL the Outer Gods used to just be One God, The One Great. And then came "fractures" and the "birth" of the different Outer Gods (Greater Will, Frenzy Flame, Formless Mother, Rot, etc.) which are all just different representations of The One Great.
I think of it like the universe prior to the Big Bang, there's just this ONE "thing" that encompasses everything and then the Big Bang happens creating our universe and separating things like Gravity, Space, Time, and everything else.
The Frenzied Flame allegedly wants to burn everything down and return it all back to The One Great, as Hyetta says "until all is One again." Which, curiously, is kind of the opposite of Chaos since The One Great would represent Complete Order, an entity that encompasses everything that ever is or will be; unchanging.
The frenzied flame came from the greater will. They're the same thing

I've gone through every item description at hand anf that's never been stated. We have outer gods in the forms of greater will, lord of chaos, accursed blood (mentionef in items/spells related to Mogh), rot (mentioned in items related to Malenia/Miquella), and death as well. I forget if I read the implied one for poison. But the flame of frenzy and/or lord of chaos derived from the greater will? Which proof do you have?
@@JayTraversJT Hyetta's dialogue after you obtain the Frenzied Flame: "All that there is came from the One Great. Then came fractures, and births, and souls. But the Greater Will made a mistake. Torment, despair, affliction... " It goes on some more. I guess it's not said outright but it seems to be the general connotation, the three fingers and the two fingers would form a hand, reminiscent of the God Hand (like in Berserk.) And then again, it'd be weird if two different outer gods had the same messengers, except one of them had one more finger
I always knew the Age of Absolute had to do with the concept of the 5 fingers or the "Hand", as the 2 and 3 fingers seemed like 2 fragments of a greater whole.
Like Marika and Radagon. And like Marika and Radagon, one half is loyal to the Greater Will and the other is fighting it.

I imagine that this is the volcano Manor ending, no I dea what the age of absolute means.
Description basically says that you can't currently achieve this ending (as far as we know) as the questline and cutscenes were restored via datamining, and were obviously cut from the game originally for whatever reason.
I like how the ending seems too well-balanced that it was cut out, because Miyazaki never let you have too much.
For an ending like this I could see them making you suffer a lot more to get it, so possibly dlc content.
@@nappamon9309 I can imagine this ending would have required getting every healing rune, taking the flame of frenzy to the elden ring, then using the Miquella's needle to extract it and merge with the other runes to create some kind of absolute rune
nah its just that the game is unfinished, this was likely just part of a questline that got cut like many others which have been patched back in.
@@ShadowAraun that would also give you a reason for Miqeulas needle other than to stop the frenzy ending, and it would be a great thing to work for too, doing every ending questline minus Ranni, and also doing millicents quest line.

This is definitely an interesting ending, and adds a layer of nuance to the Three Fingers and Frenzied Flame lore.
We know that the Three Fingers' main drive is to make its existence one with the world again, wether by reconnecting with the Two Fingers, or consuming the world in its Frenzied Flame.
Then we get to Shabriri, who seemingly plays such an integral role, and what even is his role?
We know the Greater Will likes to use vessels to spread it's influence, ala Queen Marika and Radagon, so it's completely reasonable to assume that Shabriri is the Three Fingers' vessel.
But then we get to this cut ending scene, where the Three Fingers isn't trying to consume everything in a maddening flame.
So what if the opposite was true in the case of the Three Fingers and Shabriri?
And perhaps it was Shabriri that had severed the Fingers from eachother, tainting the Three Fingers in the process.
The Golden Order responds by locking away the Three Fingers, all while brandishing Shabriri as 'the most reviled man in history.'
And as long as the maddening frenzied flame exists, it will act as the Catalyst for Shabriri and his influence...

It's April 1st in some parts of the world... definitely gonna wait on this one.
Fingers in general serve the purpose of being a relay, they seem to have an ability to communicate with their corresponding outer god.
Two Fingers communicate with Great Will.
Three Fingers are seem to be connected to some kind of outer god responsible for the flame of frenzy.
Naturally there's some heavy symbolism going on here. Two and three fingers alltogether give a hand, a symbol of power and wholeness. Greater Will and Flame of Frenzy are seem to be mutually exclusive, as if they're the exact opposites of themselves while also having some kind of similarity of nature. This seems to be some kind of manicheistic trope where once fighting gods are united together by deeds of men. In result, Greater Will's power gives order but doesn't bound and enslave as it's being constantly kept on a leash by the chaotic power of Flame of Frenzy.
Now, there's another layer of symoblism to that. Elden Ring revolves around stars and their powers. Even Elden Ring isn't disconnected from that as Greater Will literally have sent a star, only later to be reforged into Elden Ring. It seems like a direct reference to astrophysics. What makes a star stable? Gravity keeps fusion reaction from expanding all that white-hot ionized gas while meticulous reactions happen in the very core of the star, giving it power and life. Two Fingers united with Three Fingers seems to be a resemblence of that phenomena.
Now, there is another layer above all the aforementioned. What does it mean to wear a ring on a finger?
- Pinky means bonding
- Ring finger means affection
- Middle finger means individuality
- Index finger means leadership or power
- Thumb means willpower
Two fingers are made out of pinky and ring finger, while three fingers consists of middle finger, index finger and a thumb. What does it mean? Elden Ring itself is merely a bond and affection but without respect to individuality, a guidance of just leadership and strong willpower, may and will eventually lead to the downfall of all blessed denizens. On the other hand, Three Fingers are purely nietzschean in their ways: they promote individuality, leadership and willpower but offer no bonds and affection. Power and leadership without love is nothing but a tyranny.

Got it on 31 at 21.00 pm so we are excluded. And a joke with such great work and inclusing cut content is in truth a great work.
My guess is if this ending were available in the game, someone would need to accept the frenzied flame and then use mequilla's needle at the right time to suppress it. The only known way currently to meet the three fingers is to inherit the frenzied flame. It may get added in pending a patch update to finish certain quest lines we don't know about yet, or as part of a DLC.
It says Cut/Unused content........so no, it's not in the game.
Ive tried that already nothing happens you just get the regular ending, unless you go for another alt ending besides chaos which youve decided not to do at the point

Literally everything in the game leads to this. If this wasn't taken out I would have declared it the "true ending". Merika and Radagon, two parts. Melina and Ranni, two parts. Mohg and Margott, twins. Melenia and Miquella, twins. Even to get the "perfected order" ending it talks about "fundamentalists believe all things lead to convergence."
Plus, the idea that a ring and pinkie and a thumb, pointer, and middle finger weren't part of the same whole is stupid. Like, it's clear storytelling. The one thing I don't understand, and I can't lie I'm not done with the game so maybe it's explained somewhere, what is the origin of the hands? There's a two fingers on each tower, only one three fingers, and no explanation for any of it. I half expected to find the corpse of a giant with it's hand cut off.

yea, right now, this is where all my theories crumble somewhat. At first it seemed to be implied that only empyreans were accompanied by fingers, but there also other demigods with fingers on their tower, so it doesn't add up anymore. The concept is really weird and there are too many blanks for me right now to make any sound conclusion, the most sound and easy to explain one would have been if we had one twofinger and one threefinger entity total.
Given this is cut content, it is almost certainly DLC stuff. The DLCs are already planned out at game release, often haven residual game files on release, it was the same with every other souls game, so I am pretty sure the Finger/Hand thing gets touched upon (lul) in a DLC.

When you talk to Miriel, he alludes to the fact that all things can co-exist and join together, and specifically he cites the marriage between Rennala (who represents the stars), and Radagon (who represents the Golden Order) as proof.
I always took this to mean that there was a secret ending where the tarnished, perhaps by completing both Ranni's questline and Goldmask's questline, would become an incarnation of the joining of both factions.
But, it seems that this idea never really went anywhere. I wonder if maybe it'll be touched on in a future DLC ending though.g
If this is real then it probably would require you to get all great runes, get all mending runes, complete Ranni's questline, get the frenzied flame, burn the tree and then clean yourself.

Thanks for uploading! I was really curious about the Heyetta dialogue at the end of her quest, where she says, "All that is came from the One Great. then came fractures, and births, and souls..." Really curious about what caused the 2 fingers to leave the 3 (order distinguishing itself from elemental chaos?) but I think this ending makes the picture a little clearer!
I initially thought the fractures referenced the shattering but it makes more sense now, with there being just one great one which broke into several outer gods. Explains better a lot of stuff.
More than this if the two fingers and three fingers form to create the one great, or some other outer god, what of all the other two fingers we encounter in the game? They’re all dead by the time we see it but one is killed by ranni, and we see one at the top of every divine tower, which notably are spaced around the center of the map which is obscured by clouds. I really suspect that whatever is in those clouds will be partly subject of an upcoming DLC and could bring some illumination

I tried looking at that cloud region from different places, from different divine towers and nothing. Whatever is there remains invisible from afar.
I do wonder if one entrace may be from the beast temple in Caelid, the one with the massive drop and tons of bloodstains from people failing those jumps. Or if that place was supossed to be another dungeon but ended up as more cut content.
Probably because someone or something wanted a world without bad things, so they split the natural way of things the same reason they sealed away "death".

This basically proves that Greater Will is an outer god, because it shows very clearly that combining two fingers and three fingers actually does create a whole hand and that three fingers were not just a mockery of two fingers. I think that you could get this ending if you did every questline involving all outer gods and forcefully combine them into one again. You remake the one great.

I believe the questline for this is a very convoluted one, in that you must do millicent's questline, defeat all of the shardbearers, get to the frenzied flame ending but cancel it by going to farum azula and using the needle on yourself to remove the frenzy, complete all of the "tarnished" questlines up to certain points in which you are allowed to kill them (Gideon, Ensha, Corhynn and Goldmask, Dungeater, Fia, Hoslow), and complete ranni's quest up to a point, and activating all of the Great Runes. After doing *all of that* you'll need to defeat Maliketh and obtain a new way to burn the Erdtree and progress, leading to an ending where you fully restore the Elden Ring using all of its shards as well as complete lesser runes such as the Rune of Death.
The reason it is 'cut' is probably the same reason the minor quests were 'cut' before 1.03, where it was simply because they weren't finished or had some ironing out to do. Seeing as this would equate to the True Ending before we get DLC, it's probably got a lot more things to iron out compared to the rest. If the way I explained above is indeed the way we get it, then it also means to have even a chance to reach it we needed the other previously cut quests to be completable, in which they now are. The only missing step is a way to burn the tree and some linking factors to lead us to this ending.
It's the completionist ending, an absolute finale. Until Miquella wakes up, that is.
(Unless this is some sort of shitpost april fools on the wrong damned day because "Oh my timezone was too soon")

Either way, if there is a seventh ending that was planned or is planned, the steps above might be similar to what you'd need to do to achieve it if its ever implemented into the game.
Whatever this would require would have to be before Farum Azula. You can't get there without burning the Erdtree, so the Maliketh stuff is out, beyond what you said about combining the rune of death with the shards of the Elden Ring, although isn't that what happens during the Fia ending? You destroy immortality and return death (and rebirth) to the Lands Between.

I did all of that before my first ending and nothing happened (even saved Melina from the flame of giants), it was probably cut from the game, maybe it will be added again in an update like the questlines, but beating Malenia again in NG++ is out of the question for me.

It's always hinted that they formed a bigger hand as when charging the great runes they are accompanied by 2 or 3 fingers I think they cut this ending because they planned on making it a DLC

A world that embraces chaos and order honestly sounds cool. Neither side will be able to override the other and they will keep each other in a never ending stalemate.
I read a comment saying this was a fake ending made made by a Guy know for making obscure mods. He glued the hands models together and took the scrapped Voice line from the age of perfect order ending, also know alternatively as the age absolute until that too got changed and they went with perfect order for the name. After that, he made his character do a emote.
I don't know If this is true or not, but this ending does not make sense lorewise.
It is fake. It's kinda nuts how many actually fell for the video. The only remnant of Age Absolute is the voice lines which were datamined through the network test. That 5 fingers you see in the video is the Three Finger and Two Finger cobbled together in a slapstick way. You can see where both models overlap each other (the right most fingers are the Two Finger model and the left three are the Three Fingers model).
And yeah, the emote the character is performing is "Rapture". Kudos to the creator because it certainly fooled a fuck ton of people.
Starting to believe that Marika/Radagon is more similar to the fingers than we believe them to be. Could these separate fingers be the same entity but split into two. But instead of the Marika way when we merge the fingers they become something similar to the Elden Beast. The new god of the land and grants the tarnished the power of an Elden Lord.
Lots of stuff to be fleshed out but this was mind boggling.

While there is what looks to be dialogue from an Empyrean, probably Miquella, the Age of Blood is headcanon and fan theory stuff

Honestly, I want them to do a Frenzied Flame DLC. Only people who did the Frenzied Flame ending could access the DLC and it takes place in the chaotic state you brought upon the world. It won't happen but I really wanna see it.

A smaller first one, that adds arena elements (the reason there’s 3 arenas all across the lands between) and the big one that adds a lot of substantial lore, maybe even a new ending (the ringed city added an ending in the way of bringing the blood of the dark soul to the painter girl, to create a new world)

My best in lore explanation is that at the start of the world/history, during the crucible or whatever there were hands of a much greater being or force. However, this force began to split apart due to disagreements, this was represented by the creation of the two fingers and the three fingers. By the time of the game, for whatever reason there are only one two fingers and one three fingers left alive. This is just my reckless speculation but by bringing them together this can be seen as a synthesis of chaos and order, as the tarnished bringing about the strengths of both and none of the negatives. The civilization of order but without as harsh of a dogma that comes with it. Similarly, the variety and strangeness of chaos without the destruction, and without the resentment and vengeance of those less fortunate.
This ending is the beginning of the golden age where blaidd’s son guts a loner swordsman met griffith and to later on become foes when guts refused to be loyal to griffith when he decided to sacrifice him for his dream thus leadin to the dark age for guts and light age for griffith until they collide
