If the due dates are the same for all items, copying the checklist from a template card and using the *For each checklist item* action on the Cascade tab is far simpler and more efficient. This also makes editing the checklist much easier.
you can make a template, and it will keep the checklist items, but it wont set the due dates. or if you do set the dates in the template, each template will be whichever dates you set. ie, if you find yourself doing the same things on a Monday, Wednesday, and friday, every time you copy that card or template, you'll have to manually set those dates. it won't pick the upcoming monday/wednesday/friday, etc.
