There are no words for Nathalie Stutzmann's voice and artistry. They've all been said here. She is one of a kind. Gorgeous, gorgeous art-making (music and visuals). Thank you, Jeffrey.
Once again Jeffrey, my higher self rejoices with such beauty. I wonder how society has decayed so much, being incapable of producing this kind of music. The past is so alive in this divine interpretation. Thank you

So beautiful. I only discovered Nathalie Stutzmann on TH-cam about two weeks ago and have been captivated by her ever since. Thank you so much for uploading this.
You're welcome. I adore her voice. I can understand why you find yourself so captivated. Hers is a voice that makes me weak in the knees. Have you watched her perform with her ensemble? If not, you must. There are several videos on TH-cam.

I have had the cd for sometime now: this has the art work as well. Good contraltos like Nathalie convey pain and beauty so well. But for this aria I have never heard better.
The music and paintings from so many periods and countries go so happily together. What great care has been given to the creation of this video, itself a work of art.by a master blender. This is the kind of harmony that may justly be called heavenly.
