1416 m3 at Fondazione Antonio Dalle Nogare

On 15 September 2023 during Festival Transart, the music piece composed by Gavin Gamboa for Lamelas’ performance piece 1416 m3 (2014) was performed live by a string quartet and a baritone at Fondazione Antonio Dalle Nogare: originally performed on the occasion of the artist’s solo exhibition at the Kunsthalle Basel, the violin composition represented as a sound the amount of cubic metres in the Oberlichtsaal of the Kunsthalle, while the baritone described its architectural features.
