What an absurd and arrogant set of responses to Winston Peters' questions. Key uses the example of the potential trustee being sued in their home country - for a criminally indictable offence - isn't withholding that money from its judicially rightful owner, supporting the accused person being sued?
And New Zealand is now not a tax haven - because Key says so. The arrogance!
He also states he had money put into a trust BEFORE becoming PM. wait a tic, that exact thing happen to David Cameron! Funny coincidence! (Especially since the British public are now calling for his resignation...)
MBIE and NZ Treasury expressed concern over Tax haven conditions.
Condescension in correction of tax law files and blaming Labour for past laws made almost.. 10 years ago does not qualify as a rebuttal, only a reactionary stance to a valid question.
Also Key should remain consistent with judicial proceedings and Revoke Peter Talley's Knighthood! - the Company owned by Talley was ordered to pay union $144,000 for refusing workers rights for their union to enter the workplace. Further to this, a proverbial "Bellrog whip to Gandalfs ankle", around 100 union members working at AFFCO in Rangiuru have been laid off, some with unblemished 35 to 45 years of service. What kind of bitterness possesses someone to do this?
