I submitted my DS-160 form on 27th March, 2022. But recently (8th May, 2022) I wanted to correct/edit my Tentative Travel Plan. In order to edit this information, I opened a new application with my current Confirmation No:. While editing, my DS-160 form logged off automatically. After that, I didn’t make any attempt to edit this form as I found on the internet that I can’t make any changes to my form after 30 days of submission. Now I’m afraid that- did my already filled DS-160 form left incomplete due to this attempt or did it remain unchanged.

You are misguiding the viewers by providing wrong information. Once you have clicked "sign and submit application" on the application, you will be unable to make changes.
Great and just to add one point..you can only edit if u have not signed..if u have already submitted and signed then u will have to submit one more ds160 and carry both ds160 for interview...

Hi, When we retrieve application, we dont get the edit options, it directly asks whether u want to create new application or get the confirmation page of old application. I guess the options are changed from the time you uploaded this video
Yes create a new one you get all your details entered already, so make changes to it that made you to have the need of a new form submit it everything like the rest and edit the confirmation number on the CGI portal by mentioning the application no of new DS-160. In this way, you won’t have to pay again for the already appointment you booked for your interview

I have completed the DS-160 form. I am trying to Submit. I am getting the following error:. "Please correct all areas in error as indicated below. Once you have finished, click ‘Save’ or ‘Next’ to continue completing your online application form. The passport number entered does not match the passport number that you previously entered.
There is no such options after DS-160 submission. All you can do is, you can save or print the confirmation page upon retrieval based on what she narrated here. This is a misleading video.

There is no way you can edit your DS-160 after submission. Either you tried to lure viewers into watching your video to gain more views or it's a genuine mistake but I don't this it is because you didn't try to correct it.

I have already filled and submitted DS160 and got a dropbox appointment (have a valid B1 already ) - appointment is in 3 days. I submitted my ds160 on line and I answered NO to one question but realised it should have been yea as I had been stopped and taken to the police station 20 years ago for a silly mistake but was free to go after 1 hour. Do I have to fill the form out again and put yes or take the police certificate and explain on arrival at the interview as don’t want to get refused as it was nothing serious but don’t want the embassy to think why I put NO and didn’t inform them? As of 2023 November this solution in the video is not valid. Can no longer retrieve the submitted application.

I have updated DS 160 and new application no. Has been alloted to me. Now I am not able to update my profile status and link my new application no.
Please suggest, what can I do.
I submitted my D160 application on last May 2022 and i have to attend the visa interview date next month if i rectify or fill new D160 need i get another appointment for interview date or i can use the same date please let me know thanks

I haven't given my details in ds160 and the session got logged off. But I made visa payment now while retrieving the ds160 it shows surname and year of birth don't match. Can I create a new ds160 and update the number in visa appointment form before my receipt number is created? Please help I'm stuck.

Submitted DS-160 application for B2 visa, but unable to get emergency visa appointment ? Company project is scheduled for October 2021.I have pad the fees and schedule an appointment for July 2022. Can I make changes to DS-160 to apply for B1 Tourist Visa instead of business Visa as project finishes before July 2022 ?
