Amazing how almost nothing has changed since the 20s!

The big, old buildings are still there, but otherwise a lot has changed. A lot of buildings have been torn down and replaced with ugly, modernist architecture.

Copenhagen was not found in 1157, but was established as the capital in 1167 in Denmark, Copenhagen originated as a fishing village and trading post under the name Hafn (Harbour) and was established as a city in the 9th century. Traces of a Viking Age settlement dating back to the 7th century have also been found. Havn became an important trading town during the 11th century.

Jeg elsker, at se gamle film fra min by, og de fleste af bygningerne står der sgu endnu. ( Stort Smil )

When you see a city, that way, over 90 years later, the years will not be visible.
It is the clip from Gammel Strand's fishing wives that tells a story and shows the time.
