    We just got a hatchling for my 3-year-old son. Our first turtle. Anyway you could give me a quick care guide on these?

      Maybe do research before purchasing the animal?? Instead of asking the first TH-camr you see that has them for a “quick” care guide. SMH 🤦‍♀️

      No judgment here. They are very easy to set up and care for. Let’s keep it positive y’all. Thanks!!! 🙏

      @@x-streamasianturtlesanctuary ahhhh…I didn’t know there was more than one reeves…that’s so awsome! Yours is like “honey I blew up the turtles” whereas mine is the “honey I shrunk the turtles” hahahaha…thx for explaining. They are absolutely gorgeous!

    Do you recommend for kids? Do they like being held?

    • @x-streamasianturtlesanctuary
      @x-streamasianturtlesanctuary  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No turtle “likes” being held. It goes against their natural instincts. That being said, I have seen some very tame friendly Reeves turtles. Some don’t mind being held. Over all, turtles are more of a pet to observe and appreciate.

    I'm in Taiwan and I have two. One baby has developed little white bumps on his skin. The local guy at an aquarium shop told me to use some eye medicine on him for a week, is this normal? He's got like little white bumps on him the past couple days. I hope he's ok. Need to separate him from the other turtle for awhile maybe? 🐢

      Without seeing the animal it’s hard. Maybe start dry docking daily. API Fungus Cure works wonders if you can find it

      considering your turtles condition,this propbably be the scabies,its suggested that use some simple surgical tools to dig up the scabies without hurting their skin too much,disinfect the wound with iodine then keep them dry and better keep the temperature 28-30℃(its better you have an incubator)
