Thanks, Peter. The only person who took a real interest in my display today was a lady visiting from Germany, who was going to send photos to her grandchildren. She told me that her grandson is a Spiderman fan, and her granddaughter loves teddy bears.
Jim..another fine display..love the spinners...and your kites always seem to fly so stable...thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas from Southeast Texas...have a good week...see you on the next video.
Summer comes and goes, Carl, usually for an hour or two that then gives way to winter. But things are improving, and I just flew for the third day in succession! Probably we'll have snow tomorrow.
Spidy and Teddy look good, from the front. Love the spinners, these attention getters got my attention! Your weatherman is as good as Singapore's. Accuracy is 49%. Haha!
The met service were boasting about the new weather radar that's been set up in Rakaia with coverage over much of the South Island. It can practically count the number of raindrops in every cloud around, but maybe they installed it upside down, because the forecasts have become even more inaccurate lately.
Hi John! Our weather has been very changeable and I haven't flown as often as I used to. I hope your rain stops and that you have an enjoyable Christmas. As you know, here in New Zealand it never seems like Christmas, and most people hope to spend their time on the beach, although I don't know if conditions will be right for that tomorrow.
@ It’s 4am here in South Texas. I’m up feeding my 5 month old daughter lol and watching your video. Btw got my two new kites hopefully I can fly them soon.
There are a few appreciative people, Richard, but most take no notice. During this fly, the only person to express interest was a woman visiting from Germany.
@@JimNicholls I wish there were more who actually spoke, but people don't approach or speak to one another like we used to. Anonymous spectators are everywhere!
Amazingly, I've just flown at the beach again and had three or four people express their thanks for the display. Maybe it's the Christmas spirit encouraging them!
@@JimNicholls Hurray!! We would fly even if there were no one else around, but it is nice when others get some enjoyment out of what they see, and especially nice when the spectators speak. Happy holidays, Jim.
Fantastic display! I hope the people who live near you realise how lucky they are.

Beautiful kites and laundry, as always...Merry Christmas to you and family, Jim.

Wonderful Jim. Kites and spinners made a great show. A few more people out on the beach but still doesn't look like summer.

Nice!
Thanks, Evan, I hope all's well with you.

That suggests that they just spin a coin - probably what they do here!
Awesome 🎉
Thank you!
Nice video Jim. Looked like a nice day, good wind too. Merry Christmas Jim. Thanks!
Thanks, Dewey, and I hope you have a lovely Christmas. Santa video going up very shortly.

Merry Christmas Jim! The weather looks great in the video. We've had nothing but rain for the past three weeks here in Germany

@@armandoa5468 What a good father you are! I hope you get lucky with the weather for your kites.
Jim, thank you for flying! You must be a beloved fixture in your community.
