Just wish it had more mobile suits from Gundam Wing and G Gundam.
Heck, why not every mobile suit from the entire franchise? Even down to obscure ones like the Nobusshi from G Gundam or the Jegan B Type from Gundam F91?
And SD Gundam (Knight, Musha, Command, Gunlander, SDGF, BBW, World Heroes, etc), you know, considering it's literally an SD Gundam game...

Gave the Demo a try and its very nearly what I want but the lock on system is very jank and it is pretty barebones graphically. Yeah its SD but that doesn't stop them from making the environments nicer. ffs why even have a hover mode when you can't actually make it to higher ground? I was really hoping it would control like the old Vs Games or something (before they were ruined by the extreme games) but alas its very simplistic and not in a good way.
What's up with the chibi? And no physical release?

Never watched or read it, but always enjoyed the gundam games.
It's Kinda Perfect for you then since there's going to be a lot of Dialogue Explaining about the History and Stuff that a Gundam Fan would Already Know.

I played the demo and liked gameplay enough but didn't like that the voice acting was only Japanese. The voice acting itself is fine, but I'm not good at multitasking, so it's hard to focus on gameplay and read the dialogue at the same time. That and the dialogue has tons of techno babble, which made it doubly hard to understand what was happening for a non-gundam fan like myself.
Anyone who's playing this, are there any options for English voiceover in the full game?
There will most likely never be another Gundam game with English VA. The last one that had it was Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3.

Nintendo isnt using, partnering or involved with Denuvo. Denuvo is targeting 3rd party publishers.
I'm disappointed on whoever decided to make them chibi characters.
Bandai Namco. Sure. Why not SD? Why not MORE SD? It’s not like I would like to be in a robot suit the size of a building, stomping around, firing a machine gun that fires shells the size of vehicles. NO! I want to play the Hotwheels version of that! YA! THAT’S WHAT I WANT! Not drama about a war about a group of space fairing people fighting for independence or dominance. Not feeling like I’m a warrior in a suit of steel. Not winning at an objective, then having to fight harder or run away because a named character from the shows showed up. NO! HOTWHEELS WITH CHIBI MECHS!
Seriously. Give me Federation Vs. Zeon again, not Chibi-Robo. Loved that game, despite its many faults. Would love to see it done better.

I played the demo. Not worth all of that money. Gameplay is repetitive. Nothing new or ground breaking. Only good thing about it maybe is the multiplayer where 3 players can do the missions.

the demo gameplay was good, but dang everything else was garbage. There was SO MUCH unnecessary talking. Unskippable too. Japanese games are getting worse and worse.
