    Can I used the same solution to desinfect plastic cutting board to desinfect my dishes after preparing raw chicken

    so every night i prepare raw meat i need to bath the board in that baking soda solution overnight.....

      I usually just use a large dinner plate for meat and then put it in the dishwasher right after I'm done.

      baking soda is food ingredient and hydrogeen peroxide is used to make teeth white. if they aren't in large quantities they are completely safe. rinse well with water obviously

    Wood cutting boards can also break if you use soap on them.

      I always clean it with soap and it has been 6 years and it still isnt cracked or broken. I also never apply board cream or oil and those stuff. Its perfectly fine

      ​@@thekiddocook1554 a lot of it depends on your climate. Cutting boards love Florida but not Arizona.

    Always oil your wooden boards monthly at least.
    To prevent splitting and to keep it looking good.
    Any cooking oil is fine.

      Nope only use food safe mineral oil, others will go rancid

      Cooking oil can go rancid and spoil, DO NOT use cooking oil on your cutting board. Use a food safe mineral oil or an oil designed for cutting boards that also contains bees wax.
