So now tell us how to use it. I've just bought one but the print in the manual is too small to read,

Just bought the Makita HP2050 and brought it home today. Looks like a very nice corded drill. One problem: The chuck is INSANELY tight out of the box. Like, ridiculously tight. I've attempted to turn the chuck key both directions just to make sure, but I understand that, just like a jar of mayonaise, it's counter-clockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten, correct?

Hi, I'm looking for an affordable but strong corded-drill. Would you recommend me the Makita HP2050?

@@El_Cacto So far, so good. The ability to turn "hammer mode" off is nice.

I have been looking for a review on HP2071 MODEL. Can you please make one.
Is there any big difference between these two and HP2071? 🤔

Is the torque limiting feature adjustable? Can I make it slip at higher or lower torque than the factory setting?

It will only slip when the bit snags in something to prevent the drill getting fucked out of your hand and possibly injuring you. Its not a setting it's an automatic detection. It's not like a chuck drill where you can adjust the torque, this drill is for drilling holes not really for driving screws

The 2050 chuck is garbage. Tried drilling 3/4" holes in concrete and it finally gave up after 5-1/2 holes. Now it loosens when you try to drill holes. Garbage

1000% i hate it. Bits come loose drilling in concrete.

I love mikita. But that drill sucks so bad. Key chuck sucks. If you need a hammer drill buy a sds.
