The Valeska twins are pretty much the best thing that happened to Gotham. To think one Joker's (Jerome) ultimate joke is to create the real Joker (Jeremiah). At first I was skeptical, but, damn, it's actually brilliant.

This show has its up and downs but they made justice to the sick and complex relationship between Batman and the Joker, without having them as Batman and Joker yet, just Bruce and Jeremiah. Shout out to David Mazouz and Cameron Monaghan for their amazing performance through the show, they have good chemistry and I would enjoy to see them portraying fully Batman and Joker someday in the future.

Feel bad for anyone who won't give gotham a chance. They miss seeing how good this kid is as the Joker.

I think you’re in the minority, most people think the first season was just okay, then they thought Season 2 was good, then Season 3 was great, then Season 4 was amazing, and now they think Season 5 is amazing. It got better as the seasons went by in the majority’s opinion.
I honestly thought season 3 was kind of boring tbh, I think I got to the mid season finale and gave up, it's because the Mad Hatters actor just tries way too hard to be a bad guy.

Actually Selina and several others have said on numerous occasions that Bruce does see The Joker as a friend or deeper. During injustice, superman asked Batman if he loved the joker and Batman had no response. If it was just mere indifference, Bruce wouldn't try so hard to rehabilitate him so much. He'd just put him away in a super jail like he does people like Zsasz.

I like that they don’t even need to say it. “Witness the birth of...” and they don’t even have to finish the sentence. The laughter is all that’s needed. We know the end of the sentence is “The Joker”

Actually, I read somewhere that WB so far has refused to give the rights to the joker character to Gothams showrunner, so they can't use the characters name. I mean even in this very trailer they keep mentioning parallels to the joker, but they don't explicitly mention that name, not in the title cards and not in the video fragments. So... Guess we'll have to wait and see.

WE ARE ALMOST THERE!!! Gotham is falling and so is what’s left of Jeremiah’s sanity. I’m beyond excited to see how the last peace of the joker comes into place, whether it be through Jeremiah, his twin brother Jerome or someone different entirely. Gotham has provided us with the best jokers yet and it’s only going to get better....

So I’m thinking that Jeremiah will fall into the vat finally becoming the joker but will forget everything about who he was before and his obsession with Bruce, there have been many Killing Joke references in the show and Joker himself can’t recall for sure who he was before

No the best we could probably get in Gotham is after he comes out of the vat of chemicals he says something like "Where am I?" Than " Who am I" as we follow him from behind he finds something that shows his reflection and after he sees his appearance he smiles and than begins to full on joker laugh, just like Nicholson,s joker and I'd be ok with that. Cameron was great as Jerome, but as Jeremiah he has been absolutely brilliant and terrifying and worthy of the name Joker in my opinion.

To all of you who said Jerome was a better Joker, this proves he wasn't, he wasn't, he would have never done this, he wasn't that obsessed with bruce. he just wanted to put on an act, not that great, Jeremiah is taking that act to the next level. Also we got to see him slowly fall into madness, we met Jerome when he was already mad
Maria Ximena Otalora Cordoba Cameron played both parts amazingly but the main reason Im loving Jeremiah even more than Jerome is he’s more accurate to how the joker is in the source material that the major fans know while Jerome was the more mainstream recognizable joker. Jerome was the typical joker everyone thinks he is. An impulsive laughing loon that never has a plan just destroys stuff just for the hell of it. While Jeremiah is the cunning diabolical mastermind from stories like Dark Knight returns,killing joke, and endgame. With this guy you could totally see him being a legitimate threat to even a fully formed Batman. Plus like you said they’ve absolutely nailed his obsession of being the yin to Bruce’s yang!

You do realise that’s not Joker’s official origin right? Joker has no origin, writers have tried giving him one but DC has confirmed that they’re all not the true origin of The Joker. So the show can do what it likes. Same with any other Batman continuity.

Ok I'm saying this...I like him better than Heath ledger.. Before anyone throw stones at me I like to explain why...Heath was not the joker from comics he did an alternate version of it and he was brilliant but he was not the joker from comics we all loved. But Jeremiah is the closest we get to the comics joker and he does a Brillant portrayal of it

Bruce's relationship to Jeremiah reminds me of the plot of Fatal Attraction...you act nice to someone (i know it's slightly different, in that the characters in Fatal Attraction slept together),but Bruce was just trying to befriend a lost soul,and that soul took an act of kindness and deemed it to mean this person was meant to be more, and started stalking Bruce..just goes to show no good deed goes unpunished.
Why do the ones who believe in the Law of Attraction feel the need to save "lost" souls? I think Bruce is lost not Jeremiah.
