I got one on Black Friday. I never really cared about VR before but now I’m converted! This is the true next gem gaming! So far Ive played re8, re4, subside, No mans sky, Behemoth. Started playing PC VR too. Half life alyx, Skyrim, fallout 4 and about to try VTOL VR.
Dude, all of those are exceptional VR titles for the PSVR. Might I also recommend Gran Turismo 7. It literally made me go out & buy a racing setup for the full simulator experience!
Just starting with VR on / with the PSVR2. You’re videos are such nice to start with and therefore I wanted to support; so bought the VR Rock lenses trough your link. Good to keep them protected! Keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to follow the new uploads!
I bought a anti tangle wrap for both my psvr2 and 1. I like them. I have hooks to hang the cords up out of the way to keep them stretched and out of the way
@IAmBatman1 just generic stuff off Amazon. Anti tangle cord wrap or cover, some like that. Kind of a pain to put on (unless there's an easier way I missed) but I like it. Then I just have one of those dollar store hooks stuck to the wall and holds the cords out of the way when I'm not using it
Motion sickness is a real thing. But you do overcome it over time then suddenly it doesn't bother you at all....PSVR2 is amazing and I hope PlayStation supports this tech
Last VR I used twice and sold it motion sickness done me in, few years on ,just got psvr2,and motion sickness is not as bad,not gone but more manageable. As for the games,it's superb!!!!!
I got some digicharge controller grips (basic plastic grips) from amazon Uk ,really helped with holding the controllers. Microcloth for cleaning lenses handy to have as well as a good carry case for the headset. Thanks for the videos you do much appreciated. 🎉
@@brianjackson3302 took me a while to get it all aligned but it worked eventually... 1st the goggle needs to be aligned properly on your face and then the eyes are aligned quite easily. Put the goggle slightly to the left/right/top/bottom of your face and you can't hit the sweet spot. I also noticed it's best to gradually adjust the lenses and then take your hands off the goggle after each minor adjustment and check the alignment without your hands holding the goggle... because if you align things while touching the goggle it might look perfectly aligned until you take your hands off and the goggle settles on your face without your hands offering support which will screw up the alignment.
Yes, probably a good idea to not let the Sun hit any type of fresnel lense 🔥 I put it back in the white inner-box it came in and leave the cable run out of the front of the box so it's also protected from dust. There are also lens caps on offer... the rubber caps might screw with your lenses while pushing them on the lenses but I saw a black foam psvr2 lense protector on Amazon branded 'Digicharge' that seems like a better solution than the caps. And I bought a pretty powerful battery-powered blow duster sold on Temu as the 'Super Power Turbo Fan' for about 30 euros... it can be used to blow dust off the lenses without having to touch the lenses which might cause scatches. Not to mention it can be used to blow dust off other hardware that might scratch easily such as the PS5's glossy black plastic part.
I bought psvr2 the day that launched because i couldn't afford a pc to play my the games that I've always wanted to try such as blade and sorcery, hellsplit arena, and other popular pcvr games. I love the games tha psvr2 has and its very fun but i want to know if just one game of these that i said is coming to psvr2 because this will blow up the experience of psvr2 in my opinion. Btw I've been watching you for months and i love your videos , and i just want to know more about these extremely good games that i believe everyone wants. And sorry if you didnt understand what i said , my english is not good enough cause im from greece
The head developer or someone like that posted that they are looking into bringing Blade and Sorcery to the PSVR2 in their discord server, but it probably would not happen.
Subside made me unwell after half hour, i been told turning the swim mode off helps prevent it. Blurring in VR is pretty much as you see in real life. Nothing is in focus unless it's directly infront of you.
Try having a fan blow in your face. And some games like Ragnarok and walkabout mini golf don’t rly give you motion sickness and are fun so it’s great to get into and get used to it
I definitely did when i got mine during black Friday sale. I tried every method that i found on TH-cam. But the only thing that worked was getting it replaced from where i got it from. (The faulty one was a horizon bundle one. And the one they replaced it with was a normal psvr2)
Whenever I play my psvr2 the head strap hurts the back of my head in less then 10 minutes. And if I don’t tighten it enough it will slip off. What do I do?
Get the Globular Cluster Bud. It makes the headset way more comfortable. It really is a great investment. And you will be able to play for hours without the discomfort.
I wish I could enjoy the headset but I’ve had so many issues. First off my left controller never works when I First boot up a game. It works fine in the ps menus and the tracking works but the buttons and joystick don’t register. I have to do a silly work around where I turn the controller off and back on again. Then I can’t play re4. After entering VR mode it says press r2 to continue but it won’t work. I’ve tried resting the controllers redownloading the game and even trying the demo version but nothing worked. Re4 is the game I was most excited to play but I just can’t unfortunately. I’ve had a few other issues but I feel I’ve said enough. Sorry for venting here I’m just fed up at this point. I was able to submit for a return to get a replacement but this seems like an issue with the software more than the hardware. I guess I’ll find out when I get the new one. Anyone else having issues? This was a great video and I might get those lenses so I won’t have to wear my glasses.
Have you tried to reset the controller? There is info on the Sony website on how to do this... just google 'reset psvr2 sense controller' and the Sony page should show up in the search results. Edit: seems like you already tried a reset.
@@junt.206haha yeah there's plenty of games on PS5 for now. The PC adapter can be something you purchase when you want to play Half Life: Alyx or anything else that's only on PC. Also if you have a RTX20 Series you might already have a "VirtualLink" port available (no adapter necessary).
Mine doesn't work🤬 gotta wait till Friday because PlayStation is on holiday per customer service I am heated 🤬🤦🏽♀️.. the box came ripped the second box's seal was ripped, and the right controller doesn't work.. Merry Xmas🤬
Sucks! I can't stand those weak paper seals Sony uses... my 1st Pro got lost during shipping, retailer sent me a 2nd which had opened seals so I returned it and my 3rd from another retailer had slightly shredded seals but were luckily still partially intact. Only the cheapest piece of PS5 hardware had a proper plastic sticker seal which was the official DualSense charging station. Good luck getting it sorted out!
I think the PSVR2 is one of the more comfortable headsets to use with glasses because of the ability to adjust how far the screen is from your face. I'd still be careful about scratching your lenses on both the headset and your glasses.
@@krack1llagaming Im a big glasses haver, and its the best headset for my situation i feel. Lenses are still highly recommended, as the glasses can make contact with lenses and skuff em up. Not to mention the reflection from the light on glasses. Happy gaming!
I disagree with the room scanning. Mine and others have had a lot of problems. It had a hard time in my master bedroom. Moved to a smaller room and it worked better. I tried very bright. Very Dim and everything in between. Cleaning the cameras everything and it still has a hard time. It wasn’t like that when I booted it up and I’ve only had it for 3 days. I’m very careful with my equipment so I couldn’t see it being from damage. I’ve only had it for a few days.
If the god damn sony explore buds didn't cut out every 10 seconds it would make a huge difference. They work perfectly when using my portal. Makes ZERO sense
First rule stop playing around to find the sweet spot. Press the ps button and go to Psvr settings and hit adjust. The menu will show you the correct position. You need to do this every time don’t just push it about actually make sure it’s why the menu is there.

Hi Jammy, this will be super helpful for new PSVR2 owners👍
I agree the VR Rock lenses are fantastic.

I just got one thanks this is super helpful, I’m not someone who minds reprojection but the Mura is what bothers me
I just got my psvr2, im having a bit of a struggle finding that sweet spot, i'm assuming it's because i have glasses
Bro click on the adjust eye thing in the settings and line up your eyes and make sure you check the lens to space them out perfectly with your eyes

don't forget that games with teleport have no motion sickness so it's not just standing games.
I had a psvr 1 and just got the two, I definitely recommend Pavlov vr for any fps gamers
Just starter vr gaming on ps5 pro. Got one black friday also. Man, playing vr is the next level of gaming 👌 😊
Just ordered my vr rock lenses using your code, cheers 🍻
When i dont use my psvr2 to make sure that the sunligth does not go in the internal lents i just cover it with a dry towel
