If you are in Jakarta, you should visit: 1. PIK (Pantai Indah Kapuk) especially the Pantjoran Chinatown 2. Ancol (the theme park and beach) 3. Kepulauan Seribu (the islands off Jakarta coast) 4. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah and Snowbay Water Park 5. Taman Ismail Marzuki (art centre) 6. Shopping malls (such as Central Park, Pacific Place) 7. Monas, National Museum, Istiqlal Mosque and Cathedral (they are close to each other) 8. Kota Tua (the old Jakarta during colonial era) 9. Nearby cities outside Jakarta such as Bogor (it also has plenty attractions)

I also have friend who mistaken as Papuan even though he is a sundanese. Me myself, looks like a Chinese even though i'm Javanese..do i have Chinese blood in me? Who knows,.

If you want good coffee, go to Tanamera or Anomali. They also have pretty nice venue for work. Try out local authentic foods, desserts, and drinks...idk what your travel plan and duration in Indonesia, but Indonesia is like Europe, from west to the east you would find that each province is like a different country to eachother so are the foods. A tip to explore the food: separate the islands rather then the provincial foods...for example the foods in Java island aren't too different from eachother but if you compare Javanese foods vs Sumatran foods, they're completely different and so on. This way you don't need to try all 38 provinces' traditional foods.

while still in Jakarta, try to come to PIK 2, Skypark Senayan, City Forest and Jakarta Fair because these are places that must be visited while in Jakarta..

We have the J Co in Singapore and they used to do the Kaya donut which is my absolute favourite. So now if I happen to passby the shop, I would just go for the oreo donut .

Hi jayesh ... there are many places you can visit or food to eat in jakarta, I recommend you to go to some malls in jakarta along The city center... u can find traditional indonesia food resto like Kafe Betawi, Remboelan, Seribu Rasa, Solaria... And more, You can google it where to find it the closest from hotel you stay.. try Sate Ayam (barbeque chicken with peanuts sauce), Nasi Goreng (fried rice) mpek mpek (fish cake) and many many more.... Do you still in jakarra now? Till when? Maybe I can bring u strolling around jakarta on weeknd only coz I have to work
