J. David Spurlock started crafting this book inspired by the original million-selling 1970s mass market art book, Fantastic Art of Frank Frazetta. But, he expanded and revised to include twice as many images and, presents them at a much larger coffee-table book size of 10.5 x 14.625”! This might be the best Frazetta book. The quality of the reproductions is incredible.
This feels like a guided tour. I hope Vanguard does more of these. Even when the book arrives I’ll probably revisit this for the great commentary.

That's where Frank met one of my favorite artists/instructors, Jeff Watts (Watts Atelier) in San Diego.
Another great video from a great channel. Frank Frazetta had many artists copy his work but none of them were as good as him. Lol.
During the lockdown I entertained myself with books, artwork and literature. You should too.

I always preorder your deluxe editions due to their great quality, but I think you really outdid yourself with one! Might be the best Frazetta book ever printed. Can’t wait to have it in my hands.
Best book on Frazetta yet. The layout looks so much more polished than any other Frazetta book both past and present. I hope they make a follow up book in this format to cover the rest of his amazing paintings.

Tried buying the FANTASTIC PAINTINGS OF FRAZETTA HC DELUXE SLIPCASED ED from cheap graphic novels. They didn’t release it and instead put it on eBay for 4x the price.
You can order from VanguardPublishing.com or The Frazetta Museum or Bud Plant Books. 1st printing sold out fast but great new copies will be released in November

Was hoping this book had way more ”paintings” as titled. Where are all the Death Dealer and Conan works? A lot of Frank’s other masterpieces missing here too.
Gotta save something for volume two.

I just Bought a copy of the Deluxe Edition :-) as there are TWO print runs, how many copies of the Deluxe are there in total then ? the website is unclear on this.

Hi the miss numbered pages you mention.on the regular edition it says 120 pages.but it ends at 116.117 been a blank page.but counted there's 112 pages
total page count includes enspapers and covers
