if you just watched the video & you were wondering why it ended abruptly lol here’s why…. I had leaned forward a little bit because I was checking to make sure he was OK & ready for his last bite of food… Evidently, I had my arm out in front of him also. & Because of his training… he thought he was supposed to jump out onto my arm haha 🤣 obviously I wasn’t expecting that 🤦🏼♀️🤣 so I kind of jumped & at the same time he landed with his back claws on my hand which is why I dropped the phone & the video ended lol. The rest of the video went well, so I decided to post it anyways 😏
@@EnterTheDragonsLair7777 Thank you ! I do love my small reptile gang ! They are my world ! I only have a few, so I’m able to put in a lot of work with my monitors so they are very friendly, socialized & well trained. Idk what I would do without them !
@@DouchebagChocolat Thank you ! I appreciate that ! Working on an upgrade for the Savannah…& currently have a half finished 8x4x4 enclosure sitting in my dining room lol… that will be for my peach throat. Need to extend it actually so it’s 5ft tall. & it’ll have an elevated water feature in it too. Been trying to hunt down & hire someone to finish the build on it !
@@Chp_Skillz My adventurous one haha is a male peach throat monitor. They are native to Indonesia. Mainly in New Guinea and some surrounding islands. & some are also found in northern Australia I believe. They are absolutely gorgeous monitors ! He’s very socialized and very friendly ! 🥰
Amy, I have to say this. I worry for your safety. They’re not done growing. Have you seen target-training? It helps to provide a consistency to feeding and what the animal expects from you and establish what you trust him to do. ❤I say this only with the best intentions.
