even though i never will/want to go to prison, but after watching the prison series Oz I got extremely interested of what actually does go on behind prison walls.
If they don't Interrupt him all the time and talk between each other during the suspenseful parts I'd enjoy it. But they just don't shut up I've been super interested in quite a few of their guests but couldn't get 10 minutes through it

I'm from Phoenix, born and raised. I can attest that it's fucking hot in the summer time here. I can just imagine a bunch of drunk fools, brains already fried from the heat, getting rowdy and stupid drunk. And the heat only makes it worse! Loved the story, hope to hear more of them in the future!
When I was in acklington prison i got showed how to make hooch and I was on my way i made mine i got a carton of pure orange a bag of sugar table spoon of yeast in a five gallon drum filled it's up with a kettle full of hot water give it a good shake then topped it up with the cold water and left it for two weeks and I didn't realize how strong it would be loved it
@@petermahoney8796 unless its obviously things like murder etc you cant get into trouble for things you've done in the past unless your still doing them or facing trial/probation because they can use it as characterizing you or character witnesses in your favor or against you. For the most part, if you didnt get caught for it then and you choose your words wisely you cant self incriminate. Obviously you cant be like "yeah so i killed the guy literally", murders stay murder... but you can talk about fights, plus most places for crimes have the statue of limitations and its usually 7 years, like i said as long as its not murder n shit like that your good, also dont use names n your good $. I came up with the idea of putting a hole in the cap of the bottle to bleed of the gases, therefore stopping the explosions... This have made hooch in many British prisons, my recipes ending up in books... There's always a hilarious story to tell!

How do you make friends/alliances in prison? If you didn't know anyone coming in, how would you work your way into a decent group of guys, not like a gang or anything, just a group? Everyone says how bad it is to be a lone wolf in prison, both for your mental health and physical safety, but never say really how to work your way into a group. I can't imagine just walking up to guys and trying to talk to them and start coming up to them all the time would work very well.
you don't have too make alliances as the white boys or whatever race you are will take you into there fold what you do after this as happened is really up too you and what you want too get out of it without getting killed

You Could've soaked a towel in the solution to cover the bag I guess. Also, we couldn't have plastic bags. I used a 1.25L coke bottle to make the alcohol. (The coke bought on commissary) I had to burp it like the bag every day. I left it for a couple weeks and hid it in my laundry bag with the dirty clothes. We couldn't get yeast so we had to use bread. I filtered the final product through a t shirt and let it drip into a cup. I then poured it into a smaller bottle and drank it.
Pisto and pato sauce will make your time much more enjoyable on the inside. Even if you don’t drink alcohol, you can turn fruit and sugar into $10-20 cups of wine no stronger than 10% alcohol but mix in the low tolerance created by years of no alcohol consumption and you’ve created an illusion of freedom that could become the best hours of your lifetime. At least of that spent behind bars. Now this is the best case scenario because like all good things there is a risk to create this episode I’ve created and that may include hole time, extra sentence and new charges deending on how the CO is feeling that day. I’ve had my whole jail cell absolutely demolished by the cops for making wine. They literally poured it all over my bed and sheets while throwing my bare mat into the shower so the mattress I laid on was now covered in make excretion. This created quiet the drama as others didn’t like the fact that they got their property damaged due to my wine. Guards can create tension much quicker than anybody. I would love to explain more stories from my time in California prison. The politics used in California is different than any other state. As a white guy we are much more strict as a unit and our rules involving other races come much harsher with consequences. If I were to eat a cake after it touched a black mans finger, I would be smashed out because of our politics. However this same black guy could have put some drugs into his rectum cavity which would be okay due to the fact of our leaders creating these rules and policies are all drug addicts making the reasoning on a lot of rules a bit bizarre. I contemplated tons of things on my last term but I always ended my thinking with “I put myself in here so I have to deal with the prison politics “ which has helped me stay away from trouble because I don’t want to go back to this place where a 21 year old nazi has the power over me and there is no black and white policies. Favoritism still rules as I know first hand getting out of some trouble due to being liked by the right ppl while almost getting myself into a mess over someone of power not liking me. All the stress of living life in the system can drive one absolutely mad. I am starting to realize the time has created psychological damage to me. I went into prison without any racial discrimination at all and years spent inside racially divided and being involved in racial riots with Mexican gang members has created resentment and hatred towards them. Also being in solitary confinement turned me into a paranoid and anti social individual. For me some of this might seem minor as I’ve only spent half of my adult life behind bars. I could not imagine doing a 20-30 year sentence and having to adjust to a life in the free world. I recommend going to a rehabilitation center for the first year you are our just to use the resources and learn skills to help. The biggest thing is knowing that you might not get everything right your first try but knowing that you’re not alone and re-entering the free world is not easy. Without support it’s nearly impossible, use the help provided by the county and state. I’ve been through it all and would help anybody struggling to adjust to life out here however possible. There’s programs out there that will give you a bed to sleep on the day you get released. Avoid the same bullshit that got you incarcerated because expecting different results is insanity.
i've been curious about who the hole messes up the most, introverts or extroverts? I would guess extroverts since they tend to need to interact with others, but it's the hole, so it seems like it could mess up many introverts too. What's your opinion and are you an introvert or extrovert?
Especially when we tend to do things wrong over and over. Prison sucked period. But taught me to be able to survive anything. Once you get the attitude that you can overcome anything , You Will. So nice to Not have to wake up to someone always laying in the cut. Looking to do you harm and "jam" your time. It's at it's worst right before you are at your EOS, "end of sentence". Nobody wants you to leave and will do everything to cause you to lose gain time & have to stay longer. That's if you aren't doing a mandatory sentence . Mandatory means you have to serve every day. No gain time for good behavior or statutory gain time . Not until after your specific sentance is over .You can't lose gain time and put your release date back by 30 days for getting in trouble because you didn't have any in the first place. They can only throw you in the hole and kick your ass of course. When times on the street are tuff I try to remind myself that this is really nothing compared to daily prison life where Your Life has very little value if any to others. CONTINUE TO BE STRONG BROTHERS AND DON'T ALLOW ANYTHING TO PUT YOU BACK IN LOCKDOWN EVER AGAIN. GOD BLESS
