All facts are correct but I feel one more fact must also be included in this video which will give a ray of hope The fact about the male friend accompanying Nirbhaya.
Her Male friend had the option to run, jump from the bus or even worse join the goons. But still he choose to fight against those goons by putting his own life in danger. He tried everything which he can d but he was not sucessful. Later when Nirbhaya and her friend both were thrown on road. He was the person who tried to cover her body, tried to stop Vehicles, tried to get help. His work was no less then hero but he didn't came in media.
On that night, tht bus had 6 demons who r*ped and s*xually assaulted girl but also 1 hero who fought for that girl and did everything which was possible.

Rape laws should be appreciated in the country like US, where minimum punishment is 25 years and I think India should relook into their judicial system and bring necessary changes. That juvenile (now adult) is now working as a cook in South means definitely either in Bangalore or Hyderabad. This is scary given so many single women have a regular cook in these cities and this guy could be working at any of their places. It's not pathetic bro , judicial proceedings occurs through a process , evidence and arguments. The point that everything was seen , what was happening but manipulation also takes its place in proceedings. The burden of cases and political pressure also play a part . Plus it they directly give punishment , there will be people who will question system in that way . So they have to tackle a lot aspect to give a judgement.

Nirbhaya case always haunts me as woman but as a law student after studying what happened in court after that it scares me more now...sorry to say but it showed us how insufficient our legal system is...everyone knew who did this and what d3gree of brutality happened but the defence succeeded atleast defending one of the wrong doer and providing him a way more better life and the judge who knew everything just ask the lawyer to pay a smalle penalty amount for waiting court time and let one of the rapist go away just because he was 17😢 when he committed this crime...

@@ayush_sf2 yeah both ways. but i guess the rapists should have more severe punishments. n the women who falsely accuse men should be sued and have to ask apologies in public. this could reduce false cases.
BUT
half the cases that are filed are discarded due to lack of evidence, here there are 2 possibilities:
1. the woman who filed the case falsely accused a guy,
2. the rapist made sure to properly arrange n hide the evidence.
if the the 1 option is the case then we can actually dont feel bad n make her pay penalty severely n ask her to give apologies.
but if it is the second case, where the evidences have been erased n the woman cant stand on her point due to this, then the reported rape cases would drastically decrease as women will be even more scared to file a case.

feeling disgust and ashamed about about our law because a rapist is granted 10,000 to buy a sewing machine to begin life as a tailor just because he is juvenile. If he can commit such a big crime than he is not a juvenile. And to my amazed it took seven years to hang those culprits when all the proof shows them guilty. Laws are made on paper, promises are made, but there's poor implementation. Still in a hope that some day our law system will improve and take strict action against rape cases .
